Part of why I'm here is exactly what you describe -- industry insiders being able to communicate and connect with the fans and other industry insiders. I also get a special thrill out of communicating with my favorite performers. One of the main reasons I'm here is to learn all I can about the porn world and it helps me sort out what titles I'd like to rent or own.

The main reason I appreciate the starlets posting is that it gives me a sense of who they really may be as people and not just some fantasy image on the screen. BTS helps in some respects with this but here you get the starlets responding to a variety of topics and giving their opinions.

Other forums exist where the girls are constantly belittled if they don't conform to the complete depraved whore submissive role. I'm the first to admit that I enjoy seeing rough sex provided the girl is into it. However, the problem with such sites is that the "whores" are never going to be given the opportunity to put over any other view of themselves. They have to carry on performing in a certain way even after the cameras have stopped filming.

The fans that see the girls as "whores" outside of the studio forget that the girls aren't "whores" all the time. They read books, go to the cinema, have normal relationships with their families, manage to have understanding boyfriends, enjoy eating out, go on holidays and so on.

One day they'll settle down, get married, have kids.....the things that people normally do.

This forum gives us fans the opportunity to have a glimpse into their characters by nature of the words and sentiments used in responding to our questions and comments. We as fans sometimes tend to forget that the girl being fucked on screen is a real human being as well. I love seeing BTS interviews because they're another reminder that their personalities are more extensive than just how they express themselves while getting fucked on set.

Gia's reply demonstrates someone very humble and appreciative. Taryn's comments suggest someone keen to keep her fans happy. Hillary Scott's contributions give the impression of someone happy to be upfront and honest with fans. Kami's demonstrate what a strong personality she has when in porn industry mode. Kimi Lixx comes across as being very intelligent and well read.

It's these small glimpses that are going to be the things that make their current and future boyfriends and husbands fall in love with them. After all we can't live by sex alone!

I thoroughly enjoyed Taryn's Meatholes scene until I read her personal views on it. It lost it's appeal after that so I was glad to have had the opportunity to know that.

The performer contributions also give us an opportunity to get those recommendations of performances that we might just miss otherwise. Kat Slater and Hillary have suggested titles to me recently even when buying the title won't necessarily advantage them financially.

Taryn - This point doesn't apply to you of course because of your blatant self promotion!

I suppose my only disappointment with ADT is that there aren't more porn star contributors. I'd love to see Missy Monroe and Julie Night contribute more often to the forum. And it would be great to hear more from Ariana Jollee. They have as much to contribute say as any other performer.
