With the help of Stanlay Miranda (who has made very few instant classics for Evil Angel as a director), Mr. Stagliano creates the nastiest, raunchiest Brazilian porn movie of his career, featuring some of the most beautiful women in the world switching (with it being shot in slow motion), doing samba dances, Andreia showing off the tattoos of a huge spider and it’s web on her butt cheeks, asshole worship and stretching their brown buns beyond it’s limits. The final 30 seconds of Mayara Rodriguez’s scene was too much for me to endure. 21. Waxxxin’ Phat Asses: Nubian Style (1999, Avalon) - Why Santino Lee never became a director at Evil Angel… I don’t understand this one. This should have caught the attention of John “Buttman” Stagliano. Before Jules Jordan, B. Pumper and Jay Sin, amid the same time Christoph Clark took ass obsession to a new level with gapes, this is the flick that started a more eccentric and disturbing level of ass obsession. Raw (2009, Evil Angel/Manuel Ferrara Productions) - Every serious pornographer should make a movie like this. Unlike John Stagliano’s Buttman Confidential, this is not an autobiography. Big Booty White Girls 2 (2005, Justin Slayer International) - 2005 was indeed a one of the many golden years for Justin Slayer and his BPL crew. Almost a year spent at Evil Angel and following the huge success of the first in the series, Slayer came up with the second installment of the series, which actually turned out to be the best in the entire series as well. Slutty & Sluttier (2006, Evil Angel/Manuel Ferrara Productions) - An austere movie from Manuel Ferrara. Nothing too polished here. The scene with Mia Rose and Manuel Ferrara is so much more intimate and refreshing than their overrated scene together from Jake Malone’s Own My Ass. Also stars a cum-snorting Annette Schwarz, who gets her ass played with, without any sexual penetration done with her, unless you count penetration in the mouth. But the real highlight was the merciless, incorrigible, out-of-control second-half of the first scene, which stars Aurora Snow and Sandra Romain. After shooting Delanie for Big Booty Revenge 3, Slayer was determined to shoot her again and this time with him getting close to her instead of Nat Turnher. From top to bottom, this is indeed a flawless victory! 12. Evil Anal 8 (2009, Evil Angel/Manuel Ferrara Productions) - I couldn’t believe this was more superior than Evil Anal 7. I never expected that, but that’s a wonderful thing. Evil Anal 7 was legendary (specifically for the two scenes starring Phoenix Marie and Lexi Love with Mackenzie Pierce), but this blows the latter film out of the box. Many reviewers had a problem Jamie Elle’s not being able to come. To me, Jamie Elle was so motherfucking beautiful and nastily delicious. Jamie Elle, like Amber Rayne (both who resemble each other in looks and sexual prowess), will always be a favorite of mine. I didn’t think I’d see her showcased in this fashion and it actually turned out to be her greatest appearance. Pumper takes ass obsession to a whole ‘nother level that could never be topped for years to come. That is, unless another pornographer dares to have female starlets engage in anal sex with peanut butter or bananas, bringing to the table ass wiping fetishes (which I’m surprised Belladonna hasn’t done yet) or placing a camera inside a toilet bowl, just to see how the ass looks from another angle. Otherwise, no one can ever outdo Pumper’s disturbing butt antics. Not even Jay Sin! While some women admit their dislike for this self-made, pompous black porn aficionado (including Alexis Texas, who stars here for a solo masturbation sequence), this doesn’t interfere with his ability to shoot ass like no other ever will. Although I was hoping for him to put some Asian booty in something like this, it’s easy to see he loves white booty more than any other color of booty. Arguable the best release of 2009 and it would have won if it hadn’t been for Jay Sin’s Pretty Sloppy. For a while, this was the shit! 10. Black Pipe Layers (2003, Justin Slayer International) - One of Justin Slayer’s earliest works, released at the start of his career in 2003, he had it then. He still has it now. The best in the series, I’ve read somewhere that this is also Slayer’s personal favorite in the series. Like Rocco Siffredi, Justin Slayer lined up some European beauties who were model material, placing them into a hard-edged movie where he and his BPL crew give these women the fuck of their lives, with triple-dosage of black dick. Anything goes, from DP to hard anal and ghetto n*gga-talk for the ladies. As the series ascends, so does the hard-nosed sexual virility that drives the white girls to tears and the inability to stand up straight. For further proof, watch the horrifying Black Pipe Layers 4, where white girls get fucked like rag dolls on crack. One of John “Buttman” Stagliano’s five best works, this is a mixed bag. Stagliano traverses through Brazil and Eastern Europe to find the boldest Latin and White women who loved to be fucked in the ass. Ranging from Jazmine Rose and a very young Mayara Rodriguez to Christy, there’s not one thing wrong or mind-numbing about the performances these women have to offer. Their style, their dress, their curvy posterior, their ability to enjoy nasty sex, their exuberance, blended in with Stagliano’s ass obsessed camerawork… Although some of the content is versatile, it’s all there. It’s all intact. Not one inch of Buttman’s Anal Divas could be better. I couldn’t ask for a better movie. 8. Fuck Slaves 3 (2008, Evil Angel/Jake Malone) - Jake Malone’s greatest, but most brutalizing work. The series went downhill, thanks to the craziness and mentally-unbalanced-influenced circus acts that Fuck Slaves 4 had to offer (although it worked for the scene with Amber Rayne & Annette Schwarz). The best in the series, Fuck Slaves 3 had too much to offer. I’m happy that not all pornography is like this and Jake Malone has earned the title of being “The Gaspar Noe of Pornography”. Malone respects the limits of the starlets, while it may not seem like it. To him, it’s not just about rough, dehumanizing and abusive sex. Everything has to match the action, from the atmosphere where the sex takes place to the orgasmic noises of despair and anguish the women make while they’re being fucked cruelly and evilly. Like Gaspar Noe (director of Irreversible), Jake Malone’s obsession with violent sex and anal sex can be a very dangerous combination, but thank goodness it’s only pornography and everyone knows what the fuck they’re doing. Belladonna: Dark Meat (2006, Evil Angel/Belladonna Entertainment) - It should be seen as a gift, from Belladonna to all of us. The epitome of interracial porn between black men and white women. Most girl-on-girl action is a bore and does nothing for me, unless it’s from the naked eye and imagination of Belladonna or Jake Malone. Mr. Stagliano saw to it that this could have been his greatest accomplishment by discovering the greatest tail Brazil ever had to offer (Monica Santhiago is an eternal star), catching the attention of those worldwide, even those who gave up on his work after 2001. After the release of Buttman’s Bend Over Brazilian Babes 3 or the first two Fashionistas, many thought the intensity and luxuriousness of his movies have gone to waste. In 2008, he woke us all the fuck up with this video! 3. Gapeman (2008, B. Pumper Productions) - B. Pumper picked up where Justin Slayer left off at The Evil Empire. While Justin Slayer is no doubt a much better performer than Pumper, Pumper is a much better director than Slayer. This is the movie that earned the attention of John “Buttman” Stagliano, offering him the opportunity to direct at Evil Angel. I’m surprised this didn’t win an AVN award for best release of 2008. Gapeman is some intensely disturbing, nasty and insane shit. Gathering up six of the best starlets in the industry at the time (including country anal queen, Kelly “Motherfucking” Wells), they were either high or had a high endurance level to stretch their rectal muscles so wide and far. This is ass obsession at it’s best and worst. Not one woman goes without a hard butt pounding. Pretty Sloppy contains too much of every-damn-thing, from the greatest techno music ever produced to vile sex acts with food, mainly dairy products. Others who believe ice cream should not be injected in certain places would have a serious panic attack viewing this video. Although Buttman’s Stretch Class is his most flawless video to date, Buttman’s Rolling Cheeks is the perfect Buttman feature. I believe honestly Stagliano’s back catalog would not have been complete without this video, even though he has almost satisfied his cravings to be in search of the perfect ass to date. This video lacks the circus acts, nastiness and exuberance shown in his later flicks (thank goodness), but it’s ass obsession for the laid-back, sophisticated, but horny man. While it’s so classy for it’s own good, one could never avoid the allure of juicy white booty all over the fucking place, especially in the final orgy that was originally meant to appear in Rock & Roll Rocco. No way. These are my top 25 favorite adult movies of ALL TIME. It took me two days to put this list in exact order. I still have yet to see "Big Booty Moms 2" and I know it'll be in the same league as "Mami Culo Grande 5". If I'm right, something may have to be replaced from the list with that one... Plus, 3 are before 2000. "Viva Vanessa", "Waxxxin' Phat Asses: Nubian Style" and "Buttman's Rolling Cheeks". Also, in my honest opinion, the 2000 decade brought out way more quality porn than the 1990 decade has, unless you're talking about all those Buttman movies that starred Krysti Lynn or "Rocco Ravishes Prague" (which would have made it to the list if it hadn't been for "Viva Vanessa")!
^ List appreciated, but I'm wondering (like Blacksix might be) if you watch anything from the 70s/80s/90s - just so we know where you're coming from. It would make a big difference if you had seen hundreds of films from all decades, and this list was still your favourites.

As I see it making a porn "movie" is virtually a dying art judging by recent years. Yes, there are a lot of porn videos but they aren't movies as I view that word. The greatest porn movie, (perhaps some would prefer to call erotic film) in my opinion, is "The Opening of Misty Beethoven". Another film that should rate high on any list is "The Story of Joanna," a film unfortunately, judging by reviews of the currently available dvds, no longer existing in a satisfactory condition. The eroticism level of these films far surpasses most, or all, contemporary sex vids, to my mind. Sadly porn generally followed a different path (generally attributed to the changing economics of theatrical porn vs. home porn). I think the merits of older movies have been debated and discussed extensively so I will not dwell on the matter, but, to repeat; the greatest porno of all is the lush, witty, erotic "The Opening of Misty Beethoven."
I'm not much of a feature movie person but I absolutely loved 'The Fashionistas' 'The Ass Collector' and 'Bad Wives'. As for scene-based movies, its much harder. I know that John Leslie is my favorite director of all time and his stuff alone (Voyeurs/Crack Her Jacks...) would fill the list. I've seen many adult videos released in the 1990s and I'll say the late 1990s were better than the early 1990s. Most of the 1990s movies I've seen were directed by Buttman, most releases that starred Krysti Lynn, Jade Marcella and Janet Jacme and some black-on-black porn from WCP and Elegant Angel. In my honest opinion, porn has gotten better in the 2000 industry. Not only is it more exuberant, but nastier, more graphic and more into themes of girl/girl, anal, ass obsession and interracial (which are my favorite genres). 80s porn? I've only seen very few, with the remarkable ones starring Vanessa Del Rio and "The Adventures of Buttman". 70s porn? I've not seen any and honestly have no interest in 70s porn.

Nardack, I don't get it. Are you referring to Golden age, feature porn? No doubt I have a great respect and love for that. But this list harkens to the "2nd Golden Age", where porn is essentially loops, but collated. J
Yeah, modern day porno is pretty much just loops, just of a much higher technical quality than early 70's loops. Thing is, I was never into loops. I'm a film studies nerd; I only watch and enjoy features. Features have been in the toilet for over a decade now.
I don't see that clarification. I see people asking whether that's the case, and the OP admitting he has never seen any films from the 70s. The thread is ostensibly about the greatest adult movies ever made, as far as I can see.
To be fair, the titles don't necessarily reflect the content and imo Fuck Slaves is a perfectly good title that you could probably attach to a 70s roughie. But either way, different types of porn have their place. Features and gonzo can both be appreciated by a fan for what they are.
I actually started thinking about this, but it's like choosing favourite albums or mainstream movies. Today's list will differ from tomorrow's so in the end I couldn't be bothered. They'd all be g/g movies anyway so few people would probably be interested anyway. But for ignorant people like me, what are loops in this context?
^ Loops are those short films from the pre-golden age era. They also continued to be made during some of the golden age but they are primarily an underground thing dating back to the early cinema period (the super early ones are usually called stags). They usually have a basic little set up and narrative, with sex being the focal point. In this context, people are saying that post-golden age we have returned to this format but the "loops" (scenes) are collected together as a full length movie--essentially, a series of loops and not a feature film. To add onto GGG's definition, loops were often shot on 16mm film and usually ran for around 10 minutes and were sold by the foot to consumers on 8mm film. They were usually silent with the most basic of set ups (although some did have bad subtitled dialog). They were made until 83 or 84 I would guess (possibly) later and went out of fashion likely due to VHS. I have actually had the same thoughts about how the adult movie industry seems to have been going full circle back toward the loop concept, where art and movie making are slowly leaving the industry for cookie cutter all sex movies. I've talked with others in the industry who have similar feelings. The sex scenes are longer now but the concept seems to be reverting back.
