^I gather from your words that you really...really like Madison. There's nothing wrong with that but that kind of devotion sometime blinds people from certain realities. I agree with you that she was and is a very beautiful young woman. I just don't think that she's that special. I have enjoyed many of her scenes but no more than I did from many before she started doing porn or since she's left it. Maybe she could have been a mainstream actress but she didn't choose that career so it's hard to say. It's possible that her life growing up affected her decision to turn to porn but if she was such a special person than why didn't she choose another career? If she had so many hidden talents than she could have found another type of employement. The fact is that she started doing porn at 18 amd did it for a few years. She didn't go the softcore route either. I mean she did everything pretty much right from the start.
In reply to Pat326 Much of what I said about Madsion Parker also applies to Sasha Grey. Sasha is one of the most attractive women I have seen. Not only is she beautiful, but she is also charismatic and smart. I expect she will be as famous as Madonna one day. So I wonder why did someone who has so much going for her get involved in porn in the first place. She is obviously intensly ambitious, so going into porn does not seem like a good career move because it is not a stepping stone to some other career and it can prejudice your chances in any career that involves being in the public eye. Now that she has started acting in non pornagraphic movies I wonder why she did not attempt to get into this kind of work from the beginning. In retrospect it seems to me that the five years she spent in porn was time wasted when she could have been developing her other other creative talents. Madison Parker probably never saw porn as a career move like Sasha but instead drifted into it. I could be wrong, but I guess that she first started doing the porn while still a student to finance her studies. Maybe she could not get into university, or else employment opportunities were limited so it would have been natural in the circumstances to continue with the kind of work she already had experience of. Considering how quickly she got out of porn it does not look like something that provided her with much satisfaction, especially at the end. I think both women have things in common like: their general looks, similar body type, their age, both were more than willing to do almost anything on screen right from the start and they were amazing sexual performers. I'm not sure what Madison's background is but I don't think it's similar to Sasha. It's clear that Sasha made some conscious decisions prior to starting porn and while she was a performer as to where she wanted her career to take her. I don't know how much luck as to do with those decisions but it as to be a huge part of it. There's no way that her appearance and subsequent success in the Girlfriend Experience wasn't a catalyst that altered her porn career. I think Madison sort of slipped into porn which is pretty common for Eastern Europeans girls. Many of them start with simple fashion shoots and then navigate toward semi-nude to all nude and at some point there is a strong push for them to go further and start doing porn. Of course she went much further than many other girls and that's probably a for the reasons I stated above. I'm much less generous than you when it comes to Sasha because I don't think she'll ever come remotely close to Madonna when it comes to being famous. She simply doesn't have the same level of talent. I'm not talking acting talent because Madonna doesn't have any. After all is said and done. Sasha as only done roles similar to what she did in her porn career or raoles that required a nude actress. Did she really steal any roles that would have gone to mainstream actresses? If yes, then they would have been D level actresses. It's more likely that she stole roles from other porn performers or Playboy models with smaller name recognition. The other main reason why Sasha will never be as popular as Madonna is that where Madonna talked about sex and took racy photos. She never filmed herself having sex(at least no video available to the public). Sasha did more than talk about sex but did porn. Lots and lots of porn.

It's hard to fault Sasha fo talking about porn & sex, after all, her scenes are out there & no sense hiding from it. She was one hell of a kinky girl in her youth and probaly still is today so filming herself having sex would make sense but personal collections don't count if we don't see the movies. I don't know if the info on Madison is accurate but I read on another forum that she moved back to Europe sometime late last year or early this year. There's is nothing more recent so maybe she moved back to the US.
