For the BTS I don't care about quality. But many of my sets are really loos. There is a lot of sex going on behind the scene. I try to catch as much of this non staged sex as possible. The quality might suffer but the sex is so real. I love it.

Mike Quasar movies usually have good BTS. Just because he can be so comedic when shooting stills or explaining the scenario of the scenes. If you've read his posts here, you might be able to imagine. I really haven't seen many Belladonna directed movies, but they can include extremely long BTS that really do give a good idea of peoples' personalities.

Done right (or rather, the way I like it done) BTS can be fascinating. Like many folks said above, its very cool to see the chicks hang around and bullshit and be charming and funny etc etc…

However, I can't stand interviewers who ask the gals idiotic/sleazy questions, i.e. "so, what's it like being a whore? are you a worthless cock monkey?" Perhaps they think that the people watching get off on such shit, and they could be right, but I think they sound like such repulsive assholes. This is everyone's chance to be themselves, or to show that you can be a gentleman. but I guess perhaps behaving in such a manner is an accurate w/r/t to how porno dudes actually are, or how they are perceived to be.

I don't think that things always need to be opened up for good angles to be hot. A great example is with Manuel and Sunny Lane in Fresh Faces 6. Manuel in Sunny get it on briefly in the BTS. He is fucking her while both have there clothes on. I get a boner every time I just remember it, let alone watch it. Nothing is open, they are not playing for the camara, just themselves.

1. real sex. Whether it's before the scene, or waiting for the lighting to be adjusted, etc., because there's no fake screaming or moaning.

2. the true reactions of girls after the stills are taken and they are cleaning themselves, and they are saying how gross cum is.

3. girls picking out their outfits. I had never put any thought into the outfits other than how hot the girls look. I'm always amazed they bring a rolling suitcase full of outfits for scenes

4. girls getting their make up done. The calm before the storm; getting dressed up to get messed up, etc. Whatever you want to call it

What I don't like to see in BTS footage:

1. girls smoking (and they all seem to be smokers). I hate smoking so much, and it is the #1 turnoff for me.

I try to get the most out of my performers but exploitation is a harsh word. Nothing BUTT Fun was shot with three cameras. The Interviews are all about trust. I tell every girl that I won't ask them anything embarrassing and I treat them with respect. Even though we're alone together in a room and they are naked. I like to give our fans a very up close look at the girls and ask them things that our fans want me to ask them while my camera gives the viewer a close look at their "best features".

With all due respect to other BTS camera people, there is really no reason for the picture quality of the BTS to be any different from the quality of the rest of the movie.
I shoot the BTS and Interviews with the same camera I shoot the movie with. Yes, sometimes, the lighting can't be perfect, like if I follow them into the shower, etc.
BUT there are some people with the attitude of "it's just BTS" and I disagree with that. I sometimes think that a statement like that is just another way of saying "who cares"? And you know what??? The people spending their money on our movies care.
