Like dragonsbum pointed out seduction is often about the dialogue but even then the dialogue needn't be too complicated. Seduction scenes need a situation, some tension, a little conflict and a resolution. Throw in a sympathetic character and a little hesitancy and you're nearly there, oh and a bit of humour. This means you need a writer and people who can deliver lines or pretend really well an oh, on second thoughts I think I see why all this gets too hard...

Randy Spears/Inari Vachs in Facade -- The scene isn't perfect by any means but it has all the abovementioned elements together with some nice sex - it's a winning combination. And no I don't think I've seen any others that I can think of.

And Walter , I'm not concerned with the overall shape of the movie . Let it be balanced all out of whack , it matters not to me . It would just be nice to have more instances of sex on camera which didn't leap uncomfortably out of nothing but the fact that it's time to have another sex scene . Anyways some months later Laura was awarded le Hot d'Or as best European actress
for that movie, nontheless it was a team success in my humble opinion.

So what do we learn from this? For a convincing seduction setup at least

As for Steve Holmes, well, I think he has quite some talent for play-acting,

(both of these were made by Sam Weston (Spinelli), and by porn standards, are fairly well acted. In the first, a man seduces a rather straight laced married woman while her husband is on a business trip; in the second, an older woman is seduced by her step-son)

Les mille et une perversions de Felicia (1975)

(the Max Pecas hardcore classic, which I seem to remember took the shape of a seduction, as a teenage girl comes to live with a happily married couple and soon has them both in her bed--but its been a long time since I've seen this one)

Party Doll (1990)

(a favorite DeRenzy title, which is a kind of update of Lyn Carter --a young man seduces a woman and introduces her, despite her grave reservations, into a life of sexual experimentation)

There are a few others, but these ones popped into my head first. As for gonzo, the only realistic seductions (which doesn't mean they were real, mind you) I have seen were maybe in a few of the old Ed Powers Bus Stop Tales videos from about 1988, and perhaps in the recent College Invasion series put out by Shane's World. The fact that the girls (not the guys, of course) usually chicken out in the end is actually what gives these bits interest . . .

Raised-From-The-Dead-One , yes I can imagine that many guys purchasing porn don't want to imagine any fantasy that involves actually having to talk with women . Especially the ones who buy the more extreme shit . But isn't that where the idea of an untapped market comes in ? The thought that maybe there's a large group who's objections to porn aren't morally based but spring instead from general contempt for the grot they're been exposed to so far ? That's the optimistic way of looking at it , anyway .
