The early-mid 2000s is personally my favourite era for porn. It was a time when porn was highly genuine and least choreographed but still with that professional edge to it in terms of production, with camera work, script/scenarios, lighting, set location, casting etc (it had the balance right).
The overall cultural 'porn scene' itself was also probably at its most seediest and sordid (I mean that as a compliment lol), it was basically a time when producers and performers were just meeting to party and have sex on camera and make a lot of money out of it (before the pirate streaming platforms of the mid-late 2000s began to change all that) you had some decent DVDs in the second half of the 2000s but the bulk of them come from the first half of the 2000s.
It was probably the time that produced and employed the highest amount of professional performers due to the growth of the industry and it becoming more open and less exclusive (pre 2000s was more of an exclusive club, you often had to have the right connections to get work). Companies like Red Light District, Platinum X, Anabolic, Diabolic, Evasive Angles, Jules Jordan, JM productions, Extreme Associates, Sineplex, Acid Rain, Zero Tolerance........(I could go on forever) these were the ones making it happen.
What are everyone's favourite movies from the 2000s era? Its a tough choice trying to rank them but these would probably be my top 20 starting with the best..............(I don't expect any of you to list as much as me.........as I am basically not human and obsessed lol).............also has anyone else got/watched any of these titles?
