Also the quality of all these discs were very lame.. alot of this piracy goes on and i cant imagine it being good for any producer,director or company....

The nice thing about them is that you can buy Hello Kitty Vibrators and fish flavored gum along with all your bukkake! My favorite site is AV-Megastore. They sell originals that are very fairly priced. Most all Moodyz bukkake titles are $30USD. They're not expensive. Most everything else is $40+. My favorite Aroma lesbian and Lactation titles are about $70USD. I once inquired about a Nanami Nanase photobook and they sent me it and haven't yet asked for a payment. My guess is that the main reason people buy the DVD-Rs is that the originals are usually region 2 discs. You need a region free player to play them. Most people aren't aware that it's fairly easily to make a store bought DVD player region free. Even those $30 players. Another reason is that they go out of print very quickly. Sometimes you have no option but to get a DVD-R version. I don't even think the best movie of all time..Semen Maniac 1 can be purchased as an original anymore. You can't get the originals for my favorite movies ever anymore. Lame excuse for piracy? Probably. 95% of all sites selling Japanese AV are selling DVD-R copies. People can come up with this excuse such as..."All copies have poor quality, buy the original". That's not really true, but it can be. It is possible to get 100% of the picture quality from an original to a backup. 75% of Japanese titles are still under 4.7gb. But if you're going for quality, get an original! I spend maybe a thousand dollars on Japanese originals a month. The price doesn't bother me. If I can't find a used older version of an out of print title then i'd get a DVD-R. I don't do this with American titles though however. Why? I don't know. I guess I just prefer to rent them and buy them if they're really good. Another great site is VIX123. It's in all Japanese. Search around and get the email address. Email them the titles you want and they will tell you where to send a payment (they speak english). They're the best!
