There was a series of silent loops in the 70's or 80's that were mostly IR.
As I remember it was call "The Collection".Does anyone have any idea if
those are around? Any info would be helpful.

Perhaps you mean Diamond Collection ?
A series of DVD compilations of the Diamond Collection loops was released around 7-10 years ago. It is from the 70's-80's and while there are plenty of IR scenes, it is not "mostly IR". I have a few of them; I think each DVD is 1.5 - 2 hours but my memory is a bit fuzzy on that. Unfortunately, the DVD producers did a lousy job of packaging, as there is no relation between the boxcover photos and the DVD contents. So...if you are looking for particular performers or scenes, do the research before you buy and don't go by what the boxcover shows.

ninja1, thanks but that is not it. I know the Diamond Collection. The Collection was one vignette with one guy (the same black guy most of the time) and different white girls.

ninja1, I never saw the black male in anything else. The "Collection Series must have had 50 to 100 scenes. All had really cute girls and usually that one guy. The only title I still remember is "The JAP". A long tape of many scenes was made that played in theaters and I think it was titled "The Black Stallion" and had Laurel Canyon as the girl who introduced the different scenes.
