Kurt Lockwood's directorial debut...from the trailer at http://www.sexzpictures.com/(4eabpke2omrb3d55k4xjkjib)/index.aspx?a=detail&pid=54446 i can't tell what the sex will be like, hopefully him kissing and roughing up some lovely ladies in the sexy way he does...has anyone seen it?
the music is different for a porno...so maybe it will have a fresh feel to it?
aw who am i kidding i just wanna ogle kurt...but i would like to know if anyone has seen it, looks cool...naudia nyce is in it...and she seems like good porn material to me!

i know Kurt is heavily into music. i wonder if he took the title from the 1980s big hair music documentry of the same name.

Yes, he did and it was a very nice homage right down to his interview in the pool with Samantha Ryan gazing off to the side, mimicked after the famous scene where the lead singer from Wasp is drunk in the pool. Great movie, great sex, and plenty of local Los Angeles city scenery.

Actually it was the ex lead guitar player Chris Holmes from the band W.A.S.P.(which stands for We Are Sexual Perverts) that was drunk in the pool, with his mom watching. Classic scene.
Blackie Lawless is still the lead singer of W.A.S.P. Blackie is the unique bug-eyed black-haired with grey streaks frontman for W.A.S.P.

Yeah,I'm a fan.

It's nice to hear a corny cult film is being parodied.

"Part 69: The Porno Years." That's hilarious. I don't even care about the sex. I'll rent this just to see the mockumentary stuff. If I can find it to rent, I'll review it, okay?

"Decline of Western Part II: The Metal Years" was about, well, metal. The first one was about punk, which was not quite as big-hair-centric in those days..</pedant>

A satire/homage to these flicks sounds intriguing indeed..

AdultDVDEmpire has the scene breakdowns, plus screen shots.

Product page. Click!

Looks like mostly group sex scenes. I think there's only one 1-on-1 scene and that's g/g.

I have finally seen it!
It's really good...the music stands out for one thing...so sick of porn musak....this stuff is good...and not in your face...you can still hear the sex noises too yummy!
kurt looks hot obviously, and there is some hot sex! the ususal problems i have with editing between position changes, and not enough rubbing each other up and down and dry humping etc...but that just seems to be expected of porn these days....lots of kissinf though...one of the reasons i love kurt...his mixture of hard fucking and kissing...yum!
And his ass being fingered and licked too...very good!
So i heartily recommend this one...even though its well after its release date..the funny bits are funny too, in between the sex, which is a bonus :)

I'm working on a review for it now and hope to have it done yet this week. In many ways it's a very impressive movie, and shows a LOT of potential for Kurt Lockwood as a director. It plays to the documentary feel very well, and although I haven't seen the original movies I think Penelope Spheeris should be honored at the homage to her movies that Kurt has made here.

At the same time, there's also some big faults. Some are personal, which I'll get into in the review, but others are good sized warts. The biggest is that you can hear Kurt Lockwood giving directions through almost the entirety of Eve Lawrence's scene with Samantha Ryan. I mean, he makes Wesley Pipes seem like he has nothing to say in his scenes! In general, I thought the sex had potential but never really got to show all of it.

Bottom line, if you like rock and roll documentaries and wonder what it would be like if somebody did a porn version of it, you really have to check this one out.

you are right about the hearing all the direction! That's not good! But definately shows a lot of potential.....will be interesting to see later dvds!
And he is very easy on the eye as well :)

This movie has a lot to live up to. The first two movies were time-capsules, music documentaries. Done by someone outside of said scene. I don’t know if the metal years would be as good as it is if Dave Mustaine had done it .Would it be as good? It would be all about Megadeath and that is not what makes these movies classics. I am interested in seeing if Kurt pulled it off. Trailer looks good, music is good(Plesantly surprised), I know sexz pushes the envelope and gives their director room to be creative, plus a good line up…….Still those are BIG shoes to fill, but I always root for the underdog. I hope it’s works. I am looking forward to watching it.

I think this is going to be Tuesday's review...

As to David's thoughts, I think how well this works is going to depend on what you go into it for. If you go into it looking for the sex, then I think it's pretty average due to the editing style. If you go into it looking for an adult music - porn documentary styled movie with sex rather than good stroke material, then I think there's a good chance you'll like it. I was very surprised at how well the music was done too, and I think it fits the movie extremely well. I haven't seen the original movies, but there's something about this one that it seem very respectful towards the originals.

The biggest fuckup on the entire release is that even though Bobby Manilla is credited with a BTS in the end credits, the BTS on the DVD is for a Roy Karch movie instead of Lockwood's. I was teetering on the overall rating, and right now that's was the tiebreaker making it get the lower score overall. I want to take a day to think about it, as it's different enough that it's a hard one to rate.
