^ I've got to inquire as well. James Deen and Mark Ashley, in particular, shoot regularly for the clients I represent and I've never heard complaints - not from directors, not from the girls, not from critics, not from retailers, and not from fans (until now, at least).
Ok I never thought I'd be saying this, but: In Ramsey's defense... (oh God how did I get here?) I think that, apart from the whole IR thing which is obviously an issue for him, he has also consistently expressed displeasure with any and all forms of rough play by male performers. He doesn't like it regardless of whether the girl seems "into it" or not. And that's his preference, he's allowed to have that. The men mentioned here, like James Deen for example, are fantastic performers who are quite popular with their female costars for a reason, but are not above getting quite rough if a scene requires it, and if a girl is into it. I've seen James really fuckin' work a girl over on many occasions. She definitely seemed to enjoy it, as opposed to some performers' rough play which can seem unwelcome; but the point is, he got plenty rough. (Similar things can be said of the other men mentioned in that list provided by William H.) If Ramsey doesn't like rough, then I can see him not liking James. Independent of James' ethnicity.

But it's ok if the guy is black and he fucks like the woman owes him money. The real dividing line besides race is attractiveness. With the exception of Justin Slayer, Ramsey doesn't like guys who are good looking, or who the ladies favor. He'll focus on the "hat", or age (Sean Michaels), or some unknown attribute that Nat Turnher possesses, but the one thing that ties them together is that the women love working with them. He's even found a way to disassociate himself from Slayer because he hasn't been fucking enough white women the last couple of years. Trying to understand such narrow views is pointless. Just roll with it.
Mick Blue is one of the best guys out there right now. Manuel can be good with most girls. James Deen can be excellent but really only with certain girls who dig him (The girl needs to be young and smaller and more petite than he is). His scenes with Holly Morgan were awesome as were several others. Anthony Rosano may be ok, though he's not great looking. Mark Ashley's looks make it very hard for me to believe a chick could think he's attractive. He's a scene killer for me, though I really liked the look and style of the scene you had with him and Eva Angelina in one of the fairly recent flicks. And I agree that the girls seem to love Danny Mountain.
Lest this thread become all about the weird and wonderful fucked up musings of the one and only Ramsey, just let me say that picman sort of beat me to the punch regarding him. He hit one of the many Ramsey-related nails right on the head. Not only that but I feel like Ramsey, as incapable as he seems to be at competently or intelligently expressing himself, can at least attempt to speak his own mind; he doesn't need killbillvol69 or anyone else to do it for him (even if they'd no doubt do an infinitely better job). It's especially comical to me to see someone, moderator or not, who has hardly been here the better part of a year attempt to break down and explain the motivations of someone like Ramsey to a bunch of posters who have been active here and dealing with his shit for the last FIVE. IR scenes can be plenty hot, but there is an unfortunate pattern with the black guys used. Most of them are just plain not attractive guys, they're just black with big dicks. Nearly every girl in porn would gladly fuck a black guy if it was a hot black guy. It's too bad there are very few of those used.

I dig his looks, but I also a hail from the Pacific Northwest, where a lot of guys wear their hair/facial hair the way Mark does. The things I like from a male performer are passion and intensity.
