Has anyone notice the vast improvement in the quality of females in Black porn over the last few years? I certainly have.
Back in the day I hated to watch Black porn. On any given tape in the early 90's there would be maybe one decent Sista, and four tore up from the floor up crack hoes. Lately though, there has been a massive shift. Starting with West Coast productions, there has been an influx of ourstanding looking females like Angel Eyes. Now me, I love a dark Sista with long black Asian doll hair, and a big bootie. Enter Black Ice. I watch their stuff now and it's like "DAYUM! Holy SHIT! GODDAMN!". I mean real off the chain hotness. I actually wonder what some of these chicks, many of whom only do one or two flicks, are doing in porn and not Ebony or KING magazine.
In short, Black porn has become a happy place. I wonder has anyone else noticed this evolution?
It's all a matter of taste, isn't it? When I started watching porn Heather Hunter was far and away the best looking chick. Angel Kelly was alright. Jeannie Pepper was too next door neighbor - average. Nina DePonca had her moments. Purple Passion there were times she looked very bad. We've bandied this subject around recently. Black women are really coming into their own in today's porn, and not only in black on black productions. It's very reminiscent of the 80's and the stars so easily dismissed by Daywalker. Most of them mentioned are all time greats and timeless beauties. All the major companies have been creating titles for these dark vixens and infiltrating their regular series with the best of the performers.
Easily dismissed? No, I wouldn't have put it that way. Also, I wouldn't say that I didn't "enjoy" their work. It's just comparably speaking there were not a lot of options.

"Black Porn has not undergone an "Evolution" What has happpened is more and more "Black" producers and Directors are creating Black product. The majority of the so called Black porn from back in the day was produced by white guys.
So what you saw was basically the stereotypical view of what Black was supposed to be. I have worked very hard since I entered the Adult business 7 years ago to change that view forever.
