Has anyone here heard of this movie? It's a collection of porn shorts from the 1920s (yes, you read right). Who knew that was even thought of back then? I guess this movie shows that porn didn't start in the 70s. And here is the movie's imdb.com page.

Don't recall that specific movie, but I have seen several compilations of 1920's porn over the years. Some of it is actually quite good, although there did tend to be a surprising amount of male homosexuality and bi-sexual acts in those days.

^ Yeah, that's a not uncommon thing in the French shorts. Lots of good comps of these from the 20s, 30, 40s, 50s and 60s. Pretty much everything you see in today's porn was done back then.

How is it? I've read that other than the clips being obviously silent and in black-and-white and the women looking different than today's porn stars, it's not really all that different from modern porn. By the way, the New Beverly Cinema is screening it tonight.

^ It's ok. It's not as good as the Alex de Renzy doc History of the Blue Movie. I recommend that (the latter part of it kinda sucks though, once they hit the 60s -- that might be just me).
You may be surprised to find some dog on woman action (not full on sex, but shenanigans nonetheless) on The Good Old Naughty Days -- and sold on Amazon.com too...

^I read about that. Apparently nothing was taboo in that movie. It's not like that in modern porn. This movie does sound interesting. I didn't go to the New Beverly Cinema screening, but maybe I'll buy the DVD someday. Speaking of which, here is the link to the Amazon.com page.
