There seems to be a lot of competing stories right now. The original story by Variety claims that all porn will be banned from OF on October 1st. However several people on twitter are claiming that this is completely false. Variety says they have a press release from OnlyFans corporate, the twitter folks have screenshots that they say are from OnlyFans support. Then there's a third group claiming that the October ban is only for non-verified accounts. No source has been cited for this claim at all.

All porn except basic nudes is being banned. They can't show or simulate sex or maturation, period.


About the effects of this:

I think it will be some time before everyone of the onlyfans type of porn buyer is centralized on one platform.

There will be an at least temporary boost in company studio production while a new popular platform takes shape.

^The income generated by those "lazy pornstars" on Onlyfans has allowed many to escape poverty and other horrible situations. But as long as entitled cupcakes like you get some better quality porn, it's all good. Right?
