I'm thinking about this thing for a long time. But since I noticed some positive changes for myself since an increased porn consumption, I decided to come up with this thread. Another reason are the current discussions in a few countries about banning computer games and porn.
Porn was always something special to me, since it contains a lot of fantasy and unbelievable beautiful women. So it can help you to use your illusions, which isn't something bad actually. Everyone here in the forum knows that porn can turn a bad day into a good one. Violence is not the essential point in porn (what some people might think). This message board proves it.

To find out how people think about porn outside of this board I searched the web. What I found even surprised me a bit. Of course this is a difficult subject. But in some studies on porn one of the things they figured out was, that watching porn can change the way you look upon women. And that's what I noticed as for myself. My view on women is much better since I'm watching a lot of porn. I even see beauty in women I wasn't attracted to before. The pornstars I always liked appear even more beautiful to me. You can say that I really adore them, and I know that it is the same with you in the forum. So, would people who adore women would want anything bad for them or - generally - for other people ? I don't think so, but this is only one of the positive examples.

In this thread I just want to show up that porn isn't the compelling reason that causes some people to do bad things, or whatever governments think it would cause people to do. I think you have to look elsewhere for the reasons of violence etc. The fact that some people want to ban porn completely just shows that they're incompetent, because you wouldn't fight the real problems. It's very simple to ban things, but it's way more difficult to face them.
