You have aroused my curiosity too much. How can you state this in your signature:
and have a problem with "Amazing Grace" playing during the scene?

I too am a fan of Blake's work and of more "artsy" eroticism, and I agree very strongly with your quote. Why, then, should God not receive the credit and/or be out of place in such a scene?

How about Falling From Grace? Brad Armstrong plays a priest whose spirit is willing but whose flesh really wants to pork Sydnee Steele. He gets head in the church, though I think that may have been a dream sequence. At least she's an adult.

Hi there! As Brad Armstrong's co-writer on Falling From Grace, I was intrigued to see the film crop up in this thread. Regarding the oral scene between Brad and Sydnee Steele at the mid-point in the film, the initial idea (and I concede that this may not have come out very clearly) was to portray that scene as happening in a "back room" of sorts to the offices next to the church, rather than in the church itself. One of the many edicts we operated under while writing the script was that none of the sex was to be portrayed as occuring in a Sanctuary. Again, it may not play this way to everyone, but the chore was to try to create something closer in spirit to "The Thorn Birds" than, say, Bruno Mattei's "The True Story Of The Nun Of Monza" or "The Other Hell" (two Italian films from the same period I recall enjoying very much as well).

I should say that I didn't find Falling From Grace tasteless in any way, I was just giving an example of a movie featuring priests. Heck, in the end he chooses God over Sydnee. I would have gone the other way.
