When I see these threads I think, "What star do you like that most other fans do not". Personally, when I look at this thread, I see a lot of talent that doesn't cut it. That doesn't mean they aren't good talent, it means in my opinion, they are not superstars. I also think that some talent might have personal or personality issues that don't make them the most ideal to book or work with. I see a lot of average performers in this list, some that I dig. But here is the thing. I also see talent that comes and goes in the industry. Doesn't live in L.A. and makes interesting appearance choices. For example. I think Lily Lebeau is super sexy. Her body is a perfect 10, but I didn't find the super short bleached hair attractive. Now that her hair is longer she looks much more feminine and I was digging her natural color (brown) before she bleached out again. This industry is about momentum, and all women eventually lose it, when you are not available to shoot, and not looking your best, you are not going to be an A level performer.
Or "What star do you like that does not appear to get enough acclaim from the ADT membership generally?". On this site, compared to Lana Rhoades and Riley Reid, it's arguable even Adriana Chechik is under-rated.

^By ADT metrics, Jasmine Jae would be grossly underrated. her star thread is tumbleweeds and she is rarely talked bout in relation to others, yet she is one of the best performers so far this year. Shooting, in high demand, but somehow ADT she is almost a non factor.
I think Melissa Moore is one of the best performers in the industry right now and doesn't get the love that she deserves. I think some people rate her as the girl that looks like Riley, but that's a severe disservice to how much she puts into every one of her performances.
How do you define underrated? Someone who's a good performer who's not getting the work she and you think she should? Someone who's not talked about a lot here on ADT? Someone whose scenes don't draw the clicks and downloads she and you think they should? Someone who's just now getting noticed? I really don't know how you define it. Take, for example, the just-mentioned Melissa Moore. To that poster, she's underrated. But she's been pretty busy ever since she debuted and has a lot of scenes to her credit. My bet is that she's getting pretty much all the work she wants -- which means that people are hiring her, which means that they think she moves product. Having said all that, the best news of the year to me has been the return of Michelle Taylor to the business. She quit maybe a year ago after making a small number of videos, and I thought she was great in everything she did that I saw. If you're looking for someone who hasn't drawn a lot of attention, I'd suggest Carolina Sweets, Lily Ford (the least heralded of the three Lilys who recent entered the business at the same time) and Alyssa Cole. All three just seem to have so much fun in their scenes.
It helped paved the way for Veronica Rain to retire she has an interview where she talks about a scene she had with her and i agree with her. As for underrated female stars, Gina Valentina elite performer hot as hell

I think calling Alexis Fawx underrated would be a major stretch. She took nearly three years off and comes back and goes right to the top of the MILF ranks. 6 out of 7 scenes listed for Alexis at Data 18 are POST-hiatus. This is a model who essentially hasn't stopped shooting in two years. 59 scenes already logged for 2017, two listed in previews on Data 18 and due to drop in the next few days. 60 scenes would be a pretty good year for a lot of models and Alexis still has 3 and a half months to go! Kristen Scott has had a pretty prolific 16-17 months in the biz--over 100 scenes. 62 scenes and counting for 2017. Cali Carter looks to be a "journeyman". Works regularly, has been in the business for years but never seems to rack up more than 30-35 scenes per year. Kira Noir on the other hand? Yeah I think you could make an argument there. Two plus years in the business and hasn't shot for RK or Naughty America. One scene for Bangbros and Team Skeet along with 3 for Brazzers in a miniseries.
^^ Wholeheartedly agree, Rahyndee's body is off the charts and she is very underrated IMO. She did a nurse scene with Gianna Nicole and she completely stole the show IMO and I mean doing that in a scene with Gianna Nicole is a fucking big deal. I'd like to also mention Silvia Saige, she's so fucking hot and so few scenes out :(

Ava Austen, who is a very sexy hot busty MILF from the UK. She's been around for 3 years and barely has any scenes. I wish she did a lot more mainstream scenes for big companies in the US but she mostly shoots scenes for that boring Fake Taxi. She would steamroll everybody if her talent was used at full potential.
^Here are some reasons why she will never be as popular as she might have been and that is despite the fact that she is a rather beautiful woman that has a good looking all natural body. 1-She's a UK performer and sadly this Country doesn't exactly put out a lot of performer and even less performers that have long porn careers. They used to when you had some really good British porn producers but those days are now gone. 2-The age at which she started doing porn meant that she would never get roles that are awarded to younger women. 3-The first two could have been overlooked but sadly this third reason cannot and I believe this is the one that is the bigger problem. It's her choice of body art. If you have either followed her career or seen her when she first started doing porn than you know that she had a lower back "tramp stamp" tattoo and a fairly large one on her right thigh but at some point she decided to add another tattoo on her left thigh, increased the size of the tattoo on her right thigh, got a full sleeve on her right arm and finally has a smaller sleeve tattoo on her lower left arm.
I have to think #3 might be the main issue. Many of the top Brits shooting in the US right now are MILFs and she'd be perfect in that role. But her tats would be hard to shoot around. A full back pattern and a sleeve certainly haven't kept Romi Rain and Monique Alexander out of the top ranks at Brazzers for example. Brazzers has shot Romi 62 times and Monique 87, with many of MA's being post-sleeve. But if you watch their scenes, it is pretty apparent that certain positions or camera angles are utilized to minimize the tats.
True, but this strikes me more as a career winding down than never really getting started in the first place. Nearly 8 years, 400 plus scenes. White hot in 2010 with three solid years after that 2011-13.
Granted it has been quiet of late, but her ADT thread has 1472 posts. Could the relative current lack of action on the thread be due in part to a noticeable drop in scenes from Valentina this year? Data 18 has her at 41 scenes for 2017 after a 70 plus scene 2016.
Damn that really sucks bro, and everything you said is the undeniable truth in porn these days. Although as someone already mentioned, there are other tattooed stars who have managed to stay alive like Romi Rain, Kleo Valentien, and Bonnie Rotten of course when she was around. Ava Austen does give us some mainstream scenes outside of Fake Taxi once in a while, but it's extremely rare when it happens, like once every 6 months at this point, but at least she has some good content on manyvids which is better than nothing.
I still think of India Summer for this. With her incredible body of work and years in the business, I never understood why she didnt catch on as a top tier star. She seems to be like that role player that gets a 20 year career in Baseball or something but never gets that SI cover and 10 million dollar contract, and half the fans havent heard of this person.
There are among many others two very nice looking models that I think deserves to be promoted for. Both of them are from eastern Europe and has been in the business many years but I have never seen them in scenes from any of the major US hardcore companies. These models are Little Caprice from Czech Republic and Snejanna/Abby from Russia that now calls herself Krystal Boyd among all the other names she has performed under. Both of them could be a hardcore superstar with the right promotion in the US. Why is that neither of them have performed for any of the american big companies like Naughty America, Reality Kings, Brazzers, Bangbros, FameDigital, Vixen or whatever company yet?
Although it's true that some heavily tattooed women have had some decent to amazing porn careers. I argue that they are the exception and not the rule. I would also like to add that the one thing that seems to be common among all those tattooed women is that they came into the industry with their body art and this way if you could overlook their body art when they started then you would be fine with their overall appearance but where I think most women who come into the industry with few (if any) tattoos make a huge mistake is when they decide to start adding body art to their body because they are almost guaranteed to lose huge portions of their fan base with each piece of body art they add. Ava falls under that category and that's why whatever porn career she had planned went off road the moment she chose to add ink to her body and please no one tell me that she will add fans because no matter how you cut it. The number of fans she lost can never be replaced by new fans who love body art.
Jane Darling was massively underrated in my opinion. She was this amazing, statuesque, blonde bombshell from the Czech Republic. Incredibly good looking, the most amazing body and oozing sexual charisma. She was pure filth and was up for anything. I think she's retired now, but she was fantastic. I don't know if she filmed much in the States, perhaps her status as a Euro performer meant she was always a little marginalised - but she was the complete package.
Krystal Boyd/Abby/Anjelica was a superstar , still is in another way her escort rates are around € 50,000 for the night , five star hotels only it's not a mistake it is FIFTY THOUSAND euros , pretty underrated
