Member 7 Posts 2/03 |  Posted - Feb 24 2003 : 3:40AMFirst of all I want to say that I don't actually own any movies directed by Jim Holiday, and I've also only seen about ten or so movies thats hes made, but I've noticed that there is a theme that runs through all of these movies. Whenever I do happen to see one of these movies I can't help, but think whats going on here? Now I think its important to know that I don't think Jim Holiday is a bad porn director. When it comes to filming the sex scenes I think hes a pretty basic director, which isn't really good or bad. One of the things I always question in the sex scenes is the feet licking and fucking, which seems to be in every fucking scene! If he wants to show foot fucking why not just make a foot fetish tape? Does Jim Holiday think that every porn fan likes foot fucking? It really wouldn't be a big deal once in a while to see some foot sucking, but in moderation. I don't mean to offend any foot lovers, but it is an acquired taste. While I'm on the topic of feet, has anyone noticed that pretty much all of the women in his movies have their finger and toe nails painted pink? Like I said the sex scenes are ok but its the rest of these movies that leave me with a sense of confused wonderment. I guess you would consider his movies to be "features", but I thought features were supposed to have some kind of story, which these movies are devoid of. These movies consist of a bunch of women in the desert who fuck each other while hokey 60's sounding surfer music plays in the background while every once in a while a girl will make some ridiculously dumb comment, and once the scenes are over theres always these little scenes with dialog, and the scenes never make any sense, its always just a bunch of pointless ramblings that don't tell a story! In some porno you have guys who at times seem to be degrading the women physically, in Jim Holiday's case, it seems like he degrades the women by making them all look like complet idiots by making them say the dumbest things possible, its stereotyping at its worst. And why does he always have the woman saying dumb tongue twisters? Whats the fucking point of all of this? Why does this guy even try to tell a story? If you took out all of the dialog and story (story, HAH HAH!) then you might have an ok porno. Am I the only one whos noticed this about Jim Holiday's movies, does anyone agree with me on this? I would like some thoughts. Also just a quick sidenote, has anyone else noticed a stricking resemblance between Jim Holiday and the Unabomber? R.B. [Link] |

This was mentioned alot on the old Mr. Marcus forum and on the old Gene Ross site he did an interview with Veronica Caine and they were talking about how much of a jerk he was and then she told Gene about when on set of Sorority Sex Kittens 4 & Sorority Sex Kittens 5, they took a break and he was talking to her and other girls saying all this bad stuff about a girl on set with them named Diana Devoe and she walked up behind him and cursed him out in front of every one when she heard what he was saying about her which made him cringed because some of the crew was black so for the rest of that day he was apologizing to all of them so they don't quit. Have you even talked with any of these people, including Jim Holiday, yourself? Have you ever been on one of his sets? If he is a racist, then why would he hire any black crew member at all? And why would he beg them to stay? And why would you rely on hearsay to form such a definite opinion on anything? Why don't you ask questions about what you read and hear and see, at least to yourself, before voicing an opinion like this in a public forum? Let's see how this works? I don't know Brock Solid at all, but that is all right. I have "learned" from reading a couple of posts on a forum that he is not a very critical person, who has no problem calling people names based on nothing more but hearsay. Is this comment anywhere near the "truth" about you, Brock? I don't think so, but there you have it. It has been written on a forum for everyone to read. If someone started a new thread on a different forum about the fact that he "knows" that Brock Solid is a simpleton, he can always "back up" his claim by referring to this post. "Evidence" indeed.
