Yes, it will likely negatively affect them in the future, but companies only care about their next quarter. It's the same reason they will lay off a large amount of employees after reporting record profits.
^It has absolutely nothing to do with that. Sites are being regionally coded now depending on where you are, to avoid obscenity laws. The US and Britain are cracking down on porn sites. So the sites are responding by nixing trailers in order to keep the government from either charging them with obscenity crimes, or to prevent them from leaning on their credit card processors to pull their contracts. I use a VPN and I still see all sites normally.
