TBH....the days of big name first anals are pretty much gone.......largely because virtually all of the biggest stars have already done anal! For me the highlight is seeing gorgeous women who I've never heard of starting anal. These are the girls I'm most interested in and follow most. For this type of girl we've had some stunners this year....Maddie Wren, Iris Leon, Nicole Kitt, Okichloeo, Amber Maddie, Ambar Lapiedra, Jenny Kitty, Olivia Zlota, Bella Spark have all done their first mainstream anal plus these Kendra Sunderland, Gal Ritchie, Angie Faith, Jodi West, Sinatra Monroe, Sarah Arabic who have been around a bit longer.
It used to be fantastic when there were loads of top stars who hadn't done anal at all when we could all wait in excitement. Now, with the possible exception of Blake Blossom who will do anal sometime in the future when she chooses, I'm actually more interested in the newer performers taking up anal, some of who are more gorgeous and more interesting than those who've been around ages!
^ I agree. The entire nature of the industry has evolved because of OF and platforms like that. I think the days of seeing big announcements like Riley Reid and Lexi Belle doing their first anal scene are mostly gone. That's too bad for guys like you and me (and a lot of others too).
Good tip I started using a few years ago - if you're dating girls (as I am), try making the first anal with them ;) Even if it's not her first time, it's still a first for you with her!
It's also caused by the fact that the new girls who start with brcc and excogi do her first anal and sometimes even DP in their debuts or one of the first scenes. Then if they boost their careers and get her name recognized as a star, the first anal or DP is already done.
It's probably a topic for longer discussion, but personally I think it would be better if they waited with first anal or DP until they got their careers on solid ground. Otherwise, they close some doors instead of opening them. It can be even more disappointing for the actress if she shows at her debut that she is capable of a lot, and then, despite this, there are not so many offers as she might have expected. Then it looks like the agent or agency sends her to shoot almost everything that comes up, while there are a lot of sites and producers where the scenes are so similar that most of the actresses don't have a big chance to make a difference, making it even harder to be recognized for the newcomer. Maybe this disappointment prematurely ends the career of the young actress.
Maybe during the debut they are convinced by the producers that it's better to show that they are open to doing more and that doing anal opens the doors to a big career, while not doing it may close these doors. In my opinion it does more harm to the young, pretending stars, because producers, of course, get more money from this, while the beginning actress's rate is low at this point, even if she is paid extra for anal. Let's, for example, consider financial benefits if the first anal is shot by a well-known star vs. newcomer.
Even though I have still long wishlist of actresses who I would love to see doing anal, I prefer to appreciate and thank to the ones made this step this year. They made me happy and I hope for more.

I wish I could blame OF but if performers could get regular work in the industry then they wouldn't need to go the OF route to make a living. You had similar platforms to OF in the past and the industry was still thriving then but when so many studios keep shutting down or shoot less content than they used then what are performers supposed to do except look for other avenues to earn a living. In the past performers would do the cam shoots and do stripping tours to bolster their income but these were usually a complement to working in the industry since they had regular shoots and that didn't leave a lot of free time for camming or stripping but today does your average porn girl get more than a couple of shoots per month?
As for big first anal announcements. I think it's simply getting harder because we have very few multi year in the industry stars left. Most new girls can't stay in the industry long enough to become true porn stars and the others do anal almost on day one. If you remove any newbie who shot for BRCC/ECG then how many actual new anal did we have in 2025 from other sources?
^ I think this is a pretty naïve argument. Girls can make huge amounts more money from OF from the comfort of their own homes, shooting with who they want to and what content they want. The Adult industry's biggest weakness is it's inability to regulate itself and it's willingness to turn a blind eye to abuse and bullying. There are far too many examples of men who abuse their positions to manipulate and abuse their positions to exploit and bully girls into doing things on and off camera that they'd rather not do. The latest situation with 101 Modelling and the various rape allegations highlighted by Tess Thompson are the tip of a very big iceberg that no-one in the industry seems to care enough to deal with. Added to that is the experience of many girls that many of the men in the industry (agents, producers, technicians, performers) are just not very nice human beings. As Scarlett Jones who left the industry to pursue other avenues put it: 'The majority of males in the industry are horrible people. I can count on one hand the male performers I like or trust enough to willingly work with."
I think you're pretty much spot on about the issue of first anals. Having said that it's related to the points I'm making above because loads of the girls do it in one of their first scenes because they are badgered into it because they're told 'it's expected' and they have no proper advice to counter this pressure. It's no shock that this experience is enough to turn them off being a part of the industry and TBH....who can blame them?!
