I do have some file types associated with VLC instead of Quicktime, and Quicktime complains about that fact everytime I start it, but that shouldn't stop QT from playing those file types. Earlier today I downloaded to my hard drive the trailer for the next Jack's Leg Show via a direct link to the video file on XRent, and that played for me on VLC fine. Although it still took forever to download. But when I go to the trailer page for a DP movie, I can't right click and save, only stream it, and somehow it opens up QT instead of VLC on my computer, and it doesn't play it right. [Link]
