Since the porn industry also doesn't conduct exit surveys, we have no way of knowing why different girls decide to leave the business. IMO, a girl doesn't have to get assfucked by Rocco or pissed on by Max before she realizes that staying in the business may not be for her, even though it's nicer if they do make it to that point.
