It seems many of you prefer new content compared to old. Very seldom do I see content from a year ago, or even a few years ago being discussed.

I know the porn industry is probably at its worst at the moment for obvious reasons. Why not look back to some of the great years we've had in the passed and watch some amazing girls that performed well at that time period?

Just curious to understand why many prefer new compared to old.

To be honest: Nowadays I rather watch the 'old' stuff. A good new porn scene is rare. It's all quantity right now in stead of quality.

Since i really dislike hair on vagina or close to it, i find myself going more and more to old content because its getting harder and harder to find bald pussy porn... Its almost a niche genre at this time, wich i find crazy... The problem with old porn tough is quality is often low as back then i had no HD screen lol. I would need to redownload that stuff (so paying for it again). Some of it ill probably do at some point...

Really wish studios would make more bald pussy porn, its not like this can't grow back if they want to shoot hairy stuff later...

I think you're right that the majority of this forum consists of viewers who are mainly interested in discussing and collecting new scenes.

My personal tastes change as I get older. While there's a constant influx of new, gradually hotter, women joining the industry, I tend to gravitate toward women closer to my own age... more Dee Williams than the newest waif on HH.

While enduring the nuttiness of '20 I've had a bit of free time. I have downloaded a ton of fantastic material from places I had never considered in the past. There are sites that are no-longer producing content that offer scenes that are right up my alley.

The only conflict I have found is that the progress in production quality has rendered some of my favorite (classic?) scenes unwatchable.

I still can't put my finger on WHY Monica Sweetheart is the standout performer of her generation (or ever?). I'm just happy I can still find her scenes.

Same goes for me. However, this does not refer to technical production aspects. On the one hand, I am not a fan of the current male actors and on the other hand, I miss the variety of the girls. 10 years ago there were so many different genres and DVD series like Milfs, PAWG, asian and black girls and so on. Nowadays mostly everything is about skinny white girls without breasts and butts, who shoot the same scenes with the same 2-3 guys. By the way. I'm talking about mainstream porn.

Imo, the industry is dead for quite some time now...2020 or the coronavirus gimmick has nothing on it...

How many sports fans make it a habit to watch old games as opposed to Live Games? There's an unquantifiable, ineffable quality to something "new" as opposed to the old. I'm not saying we shouldn't re-watch or enjoy older classics (first thing as a new Evil Angel member I had to do was to go and download, in terrible definition sadly, all the old Belladonna directed film series) rather that there is just something about newness, freshness, that is appealing. Lastly, with the porn drought that took place (and is hopefully seeing signs of ending soon) during this CV19 stuff, the clamor for new material, or talk about it here might have something to do with the fact that we're payers for our pornography, not pirates, and in that act of paying there is a want, a desire, for new content (unless up front one knew they're buying a product that won't be producing new content any longer, different case there). So folks are likely anxious and excited more than ever about new content I'd say.

I find nowadays I'd rather watch the classics, there's so much brilliant content already when you have been watching porn for 20+ years, and it keeps getting harder to find quality scenes you truly like to your specific taste.

I can see what you guys are saying. Watching porn for either enjoyment or research, I've watch a lot of really good stuff from quite a few years ago. As one person said, the only downside is that with the high resolution we have today, some of the older stuff looks grainy, washed out, or generally bad. I'm sure it looked great back in the day, but now, sometimes almost unwatchable. A shame too....

Rarely, unless a question specifically necessitates it is it worth talking about things that are not new information.

How often to people discuss the details of an political election 2 elections ago? Or who won the grand final of whatever sport 10 years ago... or even last year? Or who won the most gold medals at the Olympic games in a particular event on 2008? New information is well, new. There is a good chance that people haven't not heard it before and might be interested. Old is information is well... old. Only interesting to those that somehow missed it at the time despite for some reason still being interested.

Especially on a forum such as this.

If I start a thread about how great a cumshot Jewel De'Nyle took on her enthusiastic face in North Pole 8 back in 1999... I might get a few comments like "Yeah, that was a good one". But the majority of people who read it will just be wondering why I'm bringing this up 21 years after the fact. If I post about how Gina Valentina happily took a cock up her butt a few years back... I'm mainly just going to get "No shit Sherlock" type responses. The interactivity and gratefulness of bringing up old news is greatly reduced compared to something that just happened today. For obvious reasons.

When it comes down to it... I LIKE GOOD PORN SCENES. I couldn't give a flying fig about what era it was made. Yesterday or in the 1980's. It makes no difference to me.

Of course apart from a few obvious things (decent editing, diverse angles, professional participants etc) what makes a "good scene" for me is very personal. But WHEN it was shot? Don't care. Good scenes are good scenes, crap scenes are crap scenes. It's not like when I'm watching porn I'm enjoying it and then I notice the "date" at the end of the scene is a few years ago and I suddenly lose wood because the mutual genital rubbing happening on screen is "no longer fresh" or something.

New scenes are admittedly getting to be a bit formulaic as of late. Just like running a production factory line and just mixing up the ingredients slightly but basically just producing the same product over and over. But if we want to get really technical... porn was ALWAYS a bit this way. The only difference now is that it has been refined to "optimum sales" production more than they could before while they were still experimenting.

I know a lot of older people can't watch modern porn anymore because all the "fantasy romance" is gone and these days most of porn is just showing men treating women like shit on screen. The "sweetness" is rare now, but violence, abuse or men in positions of power taking advantage of women in vulnerable positions is commonplace... much of which that if it happened to your sister or your daughter in real life you would likely hunt down that guy and put him in hospital or turn them into the police and they would end up in prison in the real world. But yet these "fantasies" are commonly played out in porn and is arguably the most popular and sellable porn on the modern market. A lot of older people who hadn't seen any porn for a while (married and recently divorced etc) and than started watching again recently not only don't understand why this has happened, but find a lot of it quite uncomfortable and disturbing.(I don't mean in specifically tailored Dominant/Submissive fantasy sites BTW... as that is a designed specific niche. I mean in just "normal" scenes).

Anyway, I personally don't have a new vs old preference. As always, good scenes are good. Boring scenes are boring. Shit scenes are shit...

Oh, and in response to the conversation above...

I agree that it would be great if some classic scenes were "remastered" or something for greater resolution. But to be honest, the ultra 4K resolution thing is honestly too much in porn.

I'm not really super enthusiastic to see every blocked pore in an actresses face, angry looking pimple on her butt, problematic skin condition, ingrown pubic hair, every bump on some stunt cock swinging balls or freckle on the outskirts of some guys asshole when he's doing her doggy style... in the absolute highest possible pixilation per square micro-meter. Damn man, I don't even look at my girlfriends THAT closely. And for good freaking reason.

Because it's not exactly arousing...

I enjoyed the bts more than the scene itself. new stuff does not have that.
Love to see dread in a bts with new girl, as an example

I am stuck in the past. I still watch porn from 10-20 years ago. I guess part of it is I got used to certain style of porn and I want more and more of that. Plus I don't have time to research porn like I used to.

I also like the more amateur feel of older porn. The big productions and sets, lights and over done make up takes a way from it for me.

I think this is a great point, 720p is pretty much enough for any kinda scene I'm watching.

Slight thread drift: I've enjoyed looking at 70s, 80s, 90s, early 2000s playboy and penthouse models lately---more so than their more current models, with a few exceptions of course. (I don't have a hustler membership-if I had unlimited money I would)

There is older content I like but that's more because of women from ~1998-2007 I was really into. I'd buy a lot of it again if it was remastered well.

I think a lot of it is drawn from nostalgia, as well. The stars that I hark back to were when I first started watching porn, and the whole thing was new and exciting for me.

I also think that as people get older, as they progress in their careers and start to have a family life, less time can be spent exploring the nooks and crannies of every possible porn site that may be of interest to you.

As such, you revert back to what you already know.

That's a good point. I can't use up hours and hours anymore every other day to find new things. And especially if you've been watching porn constantly for 20 years, there is the possibility that your standards are so high and preferences are so detailed that it's pretty hard to find especially new performers who fit the bill. For example when I was younger and porn was much more exciting, any girl with huge fake boobs would do, nowadays they need to have something special along.

^ My thoughts too.

I enjoy a mix of old and new. I'm a regular subscriber to sites to get new stuff and I like the rush of finding something new that I really like. But I also watch a lot of older stuff too.

My porn collecting really took off in the early-to-mid-1990s because that's when it became widely available around where I live. That pre-dated being able to go to the 'net and download a scene. With a 1200 baud dial-up connection that would have been impossible. My porn collecting started with VHS tapes and migrated to DVDs when they became available.

For someone reading this who was too young to remember the porn of the early-to-mid-1990s there was a lot going on. For one thing, there was the transition from plot-based porn, which I only tolerated as it was the only thing available, to gonzo. This time period saw the beginning of some porn powerhouses such as Evil Angel and Anabolic/Diabolic. Early Jules Jordan stuff fits in here too though it was a bit later. The look of porn changed completely. My memory may be off on this, but I suspect that someone who started actively watching and collecting porn at any time after 2000 would not recognize the porn of the 1980s and older but they would recognize the stuff that came after. Prior to the shift, porn was in what we would recognize as "movies." There was a plot, there were characters and there were actual settings. The sex was fit into those in a way to make it seem logical. Even some early gonzo pioneers got their start in these plot-based movies. John Stagliano's "Wild Goose Chase" comes to mind. The sex was more raw than in a lot of earlier movies but it was still based around a plot. Contrast that with the gonzo that would come along not long after - no plot was needed. No one was playing a character. It was just sex.

The bottom line for me is that maybe it's a sentimental thing but I still love watching some of those old titles. Anabolic/Diabolic and Extreme Associates are regular views for me. Even early Max Hardcore - before he became too hardcore.

But I will always continue to hunt for new stuff too.

^ Living in Europe my first hardcore porn was Sarah Young maybe around 1993 or 1994, and that was already pure gonzo (although she did plot-based movies as well). But I remember the true transition to gonzo much later on globally, the first porn movie I bought myself was Flashpoint in 1998 on VHS, but already around the same time I got Rocki Roads Wet Dreams which was a kind of transitional thing towards gonzo. By the time I got a broadband connection at my flat maybe in 2002 pretty much everything I got from the internet was gonzo, except for markedly classic scenes.

That being said, I find I very rarely if ever watch those old plot-based things anymore, when it comes to porn being porn they're usually just a bit too inferior in quality (as regards to lighting, closeups, camera angles etc.), even if the sex itself might be really good and passionate.

I also began my "serious" porn collecting in the early 90s during the VHS days. A lot of that stuff was really good. I would love to have some remastered videos of some of that stuff. Not only just for the videos themselves, but for the nostalgia it brings back to me. The porn store I frequented was in a fairly seedy part of town, and it was a good 30 minute drive from my apartment. Also, they would only let you rent two tapes at a time, so you damn well had better be sure what you were renting was what you wanted. I remember spending, literally hours, in there just browsing. Looking for girls' names who I knew did anal, scrutinizing the pictures on the back of the case to hopefully see something worthwhile. Sometimes that was the fun, just searching and searching, trying to avoid eye contact with any other guys in there, lol!

I remember that particular store had peep shows (just tapes, not anything live) in the back, but I never indulged in that. I never understood the point to that. I'd rather rent it and go home and jack off to it. I always imagined that was for married guys or whatever who couldn't take porn home, so they had to do it that way. Or maybe it was just the gay thing to do at the time, because I could always hear the videos as I did my search, and it always mostly sounded like guys groaning on the tapes going on back there, hardly ever heard the moans of girls coming from those booths...but, whatever...Back then I guess they had to do what they had to do.

But, the first porn girl I ever actively searched for was Shelby Stevens. She was almost a dead ringer for Pamela Anderson and a few of her vids were parodies of Barb Wire and shit like that. She mostly did lesbian stuff and had some great anal vids. I would love to find some decent quality copies of some of those videos.

Then, I discovered my first true porn crush, Shay Sweet! Holy Mother! First time I saw this chick I was in love! She couldn't have been a day over nineteen when I first saw her getting assfucked! She became my obsession! I remember this one video where it was like a father and son in this room with several tv monitors, and like the father is showing his teenage son how to jack off or something. It wasn't gay or anything, just the father and son sitting there wacking off together and then the son's girlfriend (Shay) shows up and of course they both fuck her. My favorite part was the father showing the son how to fuck her in the ass. Goddam, she was so HOT!! I spent many hours in that porno store hunting for videos with her.

And Strap-on Sally!!! I had all of those!! They were awesome lesbian anal videos. Also, Where The Boys Aren't....Oh, so many tapes did I rent. Then buy. After a few years I must've had 2 or 3 hundred porn tapes. So many I didn't have room to store them. As time marched on I got one of those VHS to DVD burners and copied all of them. I still have them but boy, do they look like shit!! It's all 480 or less, barely worth the time.

I love a lot of ye olde porn, but very rarely watch any of them anymore. Only on occasion, just for nostalgia sake. I would love for that 90s stuff (even 70s or 80s) to be remastered and released. I would certainly buy some of it.

^ Slector, your post brought back a flood of memories. good ones.

Browsing through adult video rental shops for an hour looking for models I knew, and like you, hoping to find something that indicated an anal scene. I was more fortunate in that I never encountered a store that put an unreasonable limit on rentals. I recall on many occasions leaving with six tapes or later DVDs in hand.

I recall one time when I was posted to a base outside Halifax, Nova Scotia, in the late 80s that there was a mainstream shop in downtown Halifax that also had a decent selection of adult title. They put a sale on for pre-paying for rental credits. I'm sure lots of families took advantage of that offer so they could rent new releases until their credits ran out. But me? All adult.

I recall that there was a little convenience store not far from the base that had a small selection too. I only recall that because one day I was in there browsing the titles and another customer struck up a conversation. I recall that instead of saying "porno" he pronounced it by dropping the R so he said "pawn-o." The shop owner joined in the conversation. I recall that vividly because it was the first time I had ever had a conversation with anyone about porn.

My first true porn crush was Tammi Ann. I first saw her in Max Hardcore's "Hitchhiker 1." That was before Max became the twisted person he was later in his career. As an aside, I differentiate between Max eras by noting when he stopped going down on the models. Once he gave up on giving the model's pleasure he started in with the abuse. Jeez. if it were me the scene would be a flop because I'd have spent the whole time licking Tammi's pussy and ass.

But Shay Sweet. yes, she was someone I sought out too. Inari Vachs came along a bit later but was a must-have too.

Kids these days! They have to click a button to access a world of porn that guys like us couldn't even dream of as we walked up hill, both ways, for an hour, in the rain, to rent a VHS tape.

I personally prefers more old stuff from 2008 to 2013 this was the greatest time of porn industry. Now I think people does not indulge themselves into more qualitative porn. However I think this is mainly because of:
1. BUSY SCHEDULE OF PORNSTARS- industry have came a long way. Many new things have emerged like onlyfans, sex chat, nude pics selling, now pornstars can transact business in a more convenient way than they used to be earlier.. This also make them less dependent on porn companies as many of pornstars now themself shoot porn and have their own websites. This make schedule of a pornstars very hectic and costly.

2. PORNSTARS RULE THE MARKET NOW NOT COMPANY- because of the evolution of twitter and other social media networks pornstars also becoming as famous as celebrities now they have fan following even some pornstars do have millions of followers in twitter and instagram so now you can sell anything in the name of such famous pornstars and people will also buy it. It might be the reason why certain companies are entering into exclusive contract with famous pornstars. Earlier, pornstars not used to have that appeal and porn used to be sold on the bases of stories or it's execution.

3.CHANGE IN WESTERN world-famous I don't know how one might take it but I'm observing very drastic changes in American world take an example of WWE earlier it used to be fun to watch actionpact matches and extreme capacity of wrestlers but now they made it PG also they are now trying to be more woman centric in their aproach to whitewash their earlier misogynistic acts the same thing is going through porn too. Porn has become more politically correct (difference between earlier dogfart and now)

4.RESIDUAL- then I think now some minor problems are that they are spending too much on set location than they should spend on story writer, all boobs are now nearly enhanced, not hiring good people for writing the porn and most of the porn now floats around internet for free

Although I also believe even though some porn companies are doing great work and showing consistentany adulttime is great example of this

200% I agree.. I watch old stuff (too!) more than I look for new stuff, especially now post COVID-19 (a lot of solo crap and RE releases)

Porn stars themselves nowadays rather shoot for their Onlyfans, and that literally killed the game.

New stuff is "hotter" and benefits from 4K, higher resolution bitrates, better color depth, etc...

However, generally speaking, I find that older stuff has more passion and creativity. Everyone has their own personal "sweet spot" era of porn, and for me it's the period from roughly 1998-2008, but I think most of us can probably agree that the rise of SEO-driven content creation since 2012 is responsible for a lot of the creative bankruptcy we see today. Porn has become increasingly cookie-cutter and bland, and to me, most of it feels like it is produced on an assembly line by unfeeling robots. I know that's not the case, because I have been involved in this industry for several years and have seen how it really works for myself, but it sure does seem that way based on the quality (or lack thereof) in the finished products.

OnlyFans is a whole different can of worms that I don't want to open in this thread, but suffice it to say that while the pay model is clearly advantageous for performers who are able to reach a critical mass of subscribers, it's not necessarily so great for the struggling no-name newcomer.

The real tragedy of OnlyFans is that the quality of the content suffers tremendously. After all, if enough fans are willing to shell out $20-30 / month for terribly-produced iPhone videos which lack professional camera work, lighting, or directorial vision of any kind, then why would anyone bother putting in all of that extra work? I know there is SOME well-produced content available on OnlyFans, but the truth is that the vast majority of it sucks. It is a major downgrade for the industry in general and, in the end, only the consumer suffers. People are already paying MORE money for LESS content overall, so the fact that so much of that content is shit just rubs salt in the wound.

There's nothing like the ever-present crashing wave of new pornstars doing "firsts" and more intense scenes :)
But with so little new mainstream content, this has been a great time to go digging through old scenes and rediscover some gems. I recently grabbed an AdultTime membership and there are sooooo many incredible "old" scenes. EvilAngel as well. They both have pretty stellar advanced search options (even if the sites are a little slow).

I do appreciate though when someone brings up an old scene to discuss (along with a screenshot, cmon we're not savages) in a girls' thread. Especially if she's retired and there's no new news to talk about.

I'm gonna start by stating porn is the best it's ever been right now. Many of you may disagree but I really don't understand how you could. I see so many complaining about about not seeing/getting what you want and the first thing that goes through my mind is there's plenty of the kind of content you want to see you're just looking for it in the wrong place. Many people here seem to waste their time wanting studios/performers to bend to the type of stuff they want instead of actually just going to sites that specialize the type of porn they want. For example: Why come here to constantly bitch about studio/site A not doing enough DPs or anal or whatever when there are so many sites that do mostly that? Why bitch about the girl who doesn't do anal when there are about 10 thousand girls that do? It seems that anything you're into there's a studio or site doing that and there's relatively easy access to it. Plus you have access to most of the old stuff of the past. No matter what your into there seems to be plenty of it from what I can see.

For me personally, I've always watched equal amounts of new and old stuff. I'm more into the girls than the sex act or the studio/director so I mostly watch stuff from all eras of porn. I used to buy those cheap compilation DVDs that had girls from the 80s and 90s so I like many of the stars from those eras. Then I got a VIDEOBOX subscription and discovered many more girls from various eras. When I'm into the girl I've accepted that her shooting for RED LIGHT DISTRICT or LETHAL HARDCORE or WCP is going to be a different vibe and production values and feel to it than that same girl or another shooting for EVIL ANGEL, JULES JORDAN or BLACKED. And with the girls I happily accept that Elsa Jean will probably never be the same type of performer as Holly Hendrix. Both perform in a particular niche and they're both great in their niches. I love variety. I don't want to see the same thing over and over. Some days I like watching Big boob girls the 90s, sometimes I can't get enough of Riley Reid. Sometimes a gangbang with a new girl is my preference sometimes I like watching an old bondage vid with Summer Cummings (not really into bondage but love Summer C.).

I'm sure it's been done and out there somewhere but I'd like to see a history of porn video or documentary starting fro 70s porn to today and talking about the evolution of it all. The 70s seem to be all about features and loops. I think the actual amount of hot women in 70s porn is fairly small. I think that era was more about the directors trying too hard to make actual movies. But that makes total sense since back then they played in theaters. The 80s is I think when video tape became the thing and changes started to happen I'm guessing the emphasis went from wanting to simply see people having sex to seeing good looking women have sex. The 90s was the decade of VIVID and studios like that making it all look slick and glam (I think). The 2000s brought us Gonzo and all type of women and body types. The 2010s seem to be lots of how far can they push boundries and how much you can do to a girl. I'm talking in general and probably have dates wrong because some of it's before my time but that's how I see much of this. Keep in mind I'm talking popular mainstream porn. I know the exceptions always existed.

We've had eras of features being the big thing, also...The huge boob era (I kinda miss that one). The big butt era. Barely legal. Bukkaki (SP) was a big deal for a minute. Glamour girls. Parodies where huge for awhile even though most people here seemed to hate them. The contract girl was a major thing for a long time. The huge penis thing was hot for awhile (BLACKZILLA). Family porn is a thing now. We're now in a era of the once barely legal girls are main pornstars now and not just doing the "teen" stuff. The MILF era is still going strong (I like the whole MILF thing, not because of them being "MILFS" but I love that body type). Am I missing any major era themes?

^Wow. I agree with everything you said. Are you a twin I don't know about? I like to type random words in site search engines and see what comes up and pick one at random. What year it's from and who stars in it doesn't matter. My only issue is a lot of porn before 2015 can be a bit stereotypical for my liking, but then the girl gets her tits/arse/pussy out and I forget all about it!

Always feet n ass. In that order.

I think the first thing we need to do is agree that old VS new porn mean very different things based on when you first started watching porn. The porn I first saw was made in the 70's and 80's and therefore to me anything from the mid 90's and before is old porn and anything after that is new porn. Sadly a lot of that old porn no longer exist or time hasn't been kind to the version you find but I would still pick most of that stuff over the bulk of what has gotten made in the last 10 to 20 years.

I'm not going to claim that the talent behind the camera or in front of it were better back then but it's hard to argue that there are some movies from back then are cinematic porn masterpiece even if the sex portion is a little on the short side and not as anatomically visible as what came after it. In many ways the fact that you saw a lot less of dicks, balls and holes being penetrated means that cinematographers (and they had to be to shoot on 35mm celluloid) had to rely on the interaction between the players to elicit sexual tension that would translate into sexual stimulation to the audience. Even producers of loop porn wanted to create a relationship that most producers today don't care about.

^ I'm not much of a fan of the porn from the 70s. I'm a big fan of Kay Parker, Sue Nero, Viper, and Summer Rose. I discovered them through compilations and then bought DVDs with them from Excalibur Films years ago before they fizzled out. I know many people think that era was great because of the stories and acting in those movies but I didn't think much of them (from Little of them I've seen). For me they didn't work because the stories weren't really that good and the sex fell short because the directors seemed much more interested with the story than the sex scenes. From what I've seen the directors saw the sex scenes as something they had to get past to get back to the story. The sex scenes were usually very short and half of it didn't actually show that much penetration. They usually had lots of facial reactions and angles that you couldn't really see much actual penetration. The only 70s movie I think has a good story and solid sex scenes from that era that I've seen is a couple of the TABOO movies. But as I've mentioned I've only seen a handful of movies from that era. On the other hand I'm a big fan of the 70s softcore movies from back then like the Russ Meyer movies and the stuff from SOMETHING WEIRD VIDEO. I like look of 70s girls look and fashion for some reason. Big fan of Uschi Digart, Kitten Natividad, and a lot of the Russ Meyer girls. I like those movie because they they were trying to be sexy and I thought had better stories instead of trying to be a hardcore porn movie. I feel if you're a porn movie the sex should be the top priority and should be the main part of the movie.

But...I like the 70s loops. Those did exactly what the set out and needed to do. From what I can tell porn didn't become start to become better until the video cassette came about. I understand that when you're making a movie to be shown in theaters you need to do stories and downplay the sex a bit because you're trying to look like a legit movie. When video came about they were able to lean more into the sex scenes because the audience is watching at home and do whatever without worrying about being restrained. Also, from that point the number of hot girls grew a lot because they didn't have to worry about acting ability and could hire more girls based on looks and they could become stars because of their looks instead of acting ability. During the WICKED and VIVID era they were still doing stories but the stories were they were mostly stories that are there just to give an excuse for sex. I just think it's a waste or bad idea to do a story that's trying to be complicated or isn't there for to get to the sex as soon as possible. I think DIGITAL PLAYGROUND did the best features because the stories were very simple and straightforward excuses to get to the sex scene and the movie didn't waste a lot of time between sex scenes.

Bad Habits... you seem as though you are knowledgeable about older scenes .. might it be ok for me to provide you with a couple of specific scene descriptions that I can no longer find by searching .. any assistance would be greatly appreciated
Thank you

I do think both have their perks

New content has much better video quality and bitrate than porn from the 2000s and early 2010s.

New content also has much better accessibility to all sorts of porn, with many different websites catering to many different fetishes whereas old didn't really have this option.

With new content their is countless amount of porn websites that are either established or new websites being launched frequently.

But i do give perks to old content too, for example we had incredible performers throughout the 2000s and 2010s which today's pornstars can't really compete with, that roster was stacked.

I do think old content had better scenes overall, like the scenes overall themselves were better than what you get today.

I think both have their perks and downs, its up to the viewer on what they like from an individual perspective.

My opinion never count out the present day.

^I agree with much of what you stated. The video quality is so good now compared to the old VHS stuff or even the early 2000 scenes. There are so many girls now that come and go and it's fun to keep up with them through this website and eagerly anticipate their new scenes. I like the fact that the girls back then were much less likely to have tattoos and there wasn't the constant pressure from web sites like these for them to do anal or gangbangs or black guys or asian guys or whatever else that fans want them to do in today's porn. We just appreciated the scenes we got and didn't complain about it. One thing I did not like in old porn was the terrible background music. It really distracted the viewer from the performers IMO. I think it would be great if someone could take some classic porn, Vivid stuff for example, and remaster and remove the background music.

I would definitely say that older content and the state of porn was better than it is today. This no more clearer especially when it comes to black porn which is pretty nonexistent compared to its heyday in the 2000s and early 2010's. Even sites likes Brazzers rarely have a scene today like the classics of that era.

The only plus for new content is the higher resolution.

I sometimes re-watch porn from the 80's & 90's that I "grew" up with. Then I still have my favorite girls from the '00's & '10's. I tried to watch 70's classics but the scenes are too short & video quality too low res. New is good but I can still get off watching the older stuff.

^ about 70's classics: you're right, not necessarily in the image quality (because there are fantastic restorations of some of these classics), but about the scene length. Too much story, then a 5 minute fuck. Well, probably since I grew up on Gonzo I cannot appreciate the story driven porn too much.

My formative porn years were end of the nineties and start of 2000...
