The first one has a Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround English track which is dubbed. As for the other two, I haven't seen them, I would assume at least a 2.0 Stereo English track (dubbed) if not 5.1 for them as well.
ok, thanks, I have been looking at that one for a while, but I was a little worried it would be like the Tatiana one. I sometimes think Tatiana would have been better with English subtitles than the horrible narration job they did on it. At the very least I'd like to know exactly what Rita was saying when she was getting gangbanged (Supposedly against her will). I do know that wi is yes in french, so that seemed a wierd thing her her to be saying over and over again lol
Yeah, I heard that yesterday as well when we were discussing it in the chatroom. It really does seem a very bizarre approach to the dubbing lol
Really, why would you dub a movie into french, and then dub english narration over the top of french? I sincerely hope this isn't a mistake Private repeats, Tatiana is a great series packed with some great sex, average-good quality acting, a decent storyline, and the whole effect is ruined to quite a large degree by the dubbing issues.

How would you propose to shoot a movie when the cast comes from at least 8 different countries and speak at least 6 different languages? So it was dubbed in French because Woodman is French and he was telling the story. That doesn't mean I like it though.
btw, have you seen Fellini's E la nave va ? It also had a international cast. Fellini used the following method. he let all tha actors say this line over and over again: "Uno, due, tre.", in different speaking styles according to the needs of the scenes. During postproduction, he dubbed the all the lines. btw, I am guessing that between 50 and 90% of the dialogue heard in a Hollywood movie is dubbed as well.
If you go on the theory that dubbing and looping are the same thing. At least they make an attempt in Hollywood movies to sync the audio with the video.

That is exactly what I am saying. Dubbing is adding speech during postproduction, may it be synchronous or a-synchronous sound. Usually it is synchronous sound. Looping is adding synchronous speech.
Actually, the Italians are supposed to be the "masters" of that activity. There is (or at least was until the late 80s, as far as I know) a whole colony of foreign voice actors in Rome, working around the clock dubbing all kinds of films in different languages. Still, more often than not the synchronisation is far from perfect. This is has more to do with the fact that Hollywood can dub or loop the exact same English lines, while the dubbing in Europe has to deal with translation problems.
Whatever you want to call it, I hate dubbing or looping in porn. I prefer direct sound. Sex doesn't only have to look great and "authentic", it also has to sound that way.
