I checked out the box cover for Ass Obsessed 2. I had to checkout Serena South's ass since you made such a major statement. I totally expected to come back guns blazing about how wrong you were, BUT I was pleasantly surprised. She has a very nice ass and the rest of her isn't bad either, but now I want info. More seriously I have 2 problems with porn currently (and no no, its not too many so called circus acts or comparably minor isses like anoying music tracks and such):

- a lack of new girls (probaley due to that media HIV-panic)
- a lack of fashion awareness (cloths, shoes, make-up,jewellery...) and visual tease during the fucking that goes byond face and orifices.

Time and globalisation will solve the new girl draught. But fashion awareness is a deeper cultural thing, I am afraid.

Still, all in all I have no dangerious problem - if a new gonzo-crop starts pouring in again, that is.

For me, it is the lack of passion and energy, and the ever growing of the porn principle that quantity is now better than quality.

These girls are so hot in todays porn, but the majority of them are less than enthused looking when thier going at it. Far too many performers are just kind of drifting off while there fucking, just kind of riding it out until the money shot and then they can go get paid. And now with the increase in circus act stuff it is even worse, so many times the girls are half asleep looking and have to be proded occasionally to suck the dick hanging in front of thier faces. It is not all that bad, and the better companies are much better than that, but a lot of the bulk of the jizz flicks are somewhat like that.

The derogatory remarks are always increasing and that seems to be dragging things down too. I want to hear the girl hungrily and sexily say something like "I want your cum, and let me swallow" or something like that, I don't really want to see 5 guys hover over her and tell her how much of a slut or whore or stupid bitch she is, slap her around spit on her, and then choke her to near tears, and then bitch at her if she does not get every last drop of sperm licked off her tits. It just brings down the sexual energy to me, and the latter situation is becoming more the norm than the prior.

Then to the quantity factor, way too many studios in my oppinion are too focused on how many dicks they can shove in a girl, or what the fad of the month is that they must shoot next. Most studios never got down the ability to consistently shoot erotic energetic single dick scenes with good sequences throughout, and now instead of getting better at that, most of them seem to think that if you shove a couple more dicks in the scene, that overrides those earlier shortfalls, well I am sorry but it doesn't.

I think a lot of the above problem comes down to passion over work. There are so many studios and directors now, and many with no fucking clue of what should be shot and how, some of them don't even know anything about the porn industry before stepping in to make a quick buck, and so many of these people are just there for the fucking dollar, not to try and capture creativity through sex or passion, they have no erotic vision, just shock value. When this is all that is brought to the table, it shows, the best is not gotten out of the scene, or the performers in it, and it in my opionion just becomes a lesson in degradation and shite.

Don't missunderstand me though, because all is not doom and gloom, there are a lot of girls out there that are hotter than hot, and to watch those beauties get sprayed with sperm is or atleast can be breathtakingly hot.

There also are some great people out there that have learned what to do and have the passion to do it. People like Brandon Iron, Mason, Jules Jordan, Mike John, John Stagliano, Joey Silvera, and others in that vien, they seem to generally have the passion for what they shoot, and shoot the fetishes they particularly like, and are not just shooting the fad, sometimes those 2 cross, but that is just fine. These people can make anything hot even 113 dicks, as brandon showed us.

When you put those kind of great director producer people in the mix, and you add the incredible amount of super hot girls out there now, I would agree, there has never been finer porn shot than some of what those kinds of people put out, but unfortunetely grancabron, the majority are not in that profile, and as far as the industry as a whole goes, I can not nearly come close to agreeing that all porn is just too damned good.

The action itself and the direction is much better than in the past, but the camerawork and image quality is still amateurish in a lot of even good directors' work - Steve Holmes (camera) and Rocco (camera and shakiness of some of the filming) come to mind.

So pleased a film like ARTCORE has come out. That could be the meeting place between feature and gonzo straddlers like myself...if it weren't so damn angry.

Having bring the girls bring their own cloths and make-up kits along and basically get them stripped naked for all the hight content filth action on the directors living room sofa may safe the producers some money in the short run, but it neither allows a business extention byond strict porn into fetish fashion, nor does it help sales in fashion sonscious Europe.
