Did you all catch the sex scene with Octavian and Livia on this weekend's Rome (HBO)? The bit with Octavian cumming inside her... and then Livia giving him this look like she hasn't told him he can stop yet... him not wanting to continue... her staring at him and SLAPPING him several times until he starts pounding her again. Awesome stuff.
Are there some good hardcore scenes like that, where the girl is very demanding and slaps the guy to fuck her the way she wants... and where he blows his load on her and she responds by telling him to get back to pounding her right fucking now... and has this attitude about it the whole time.

It's a great series & has had some other hot scenes, but you are right, this one was a scorcher!
I think my favorite Rome sex scene was last week when Titus Pullo was fighting with the slave girl, and they're beating on each other when all of a sudden you can tell it's turning into foreplay. He rails her from behind and she looks back at him and says "Is that all you got?" Apparently all the Romans had a three-second recovery period.
What a great show. It's a shame there's only one episode left.

It wasn't clear to me that he had came. They established earlier that Octavian was a sexual sadist and this episode showed him to be a masochist too with the slapping and his wife choking him right after that. I tend to doubt that the real Octavian was either of those things or that we would know; but I stand to be proven wrong.
I think the show has been something of a disappointment this season largely because they have had to cram too much in. If the show had been more popular, perhaps they could have had a third or fourth season and told the stories of these major historical figures more properly. Octavian would go on to rule Rome for another 40+ years and I don't think the show really gave a full portrayal of what made him that great or large a figure.
I loved the Pullo scene as well, though my take was that he didn't cum that quick at the beginning... I think he was just starting to calm down after the initial "rush" of penetrating her... and she had to egg him on to finish the job.
Yeah the second season has been nowhere near as good as the first... the new plots and characters haven't been "value added" to the show. I hate the new actor playing Octavian... he thinks the way to act cold and logical is to simply stare straight ahead while talking. The kid who played him before absolutely nailed him... you got the impression there was always something vastly more interesting going on inside his head compared to what was going on with the people around him... the wheels were always turning.

I am not sure about that actor (Simon Woods) either. I might be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because, again, I don't think the scripts have given him the proper room to create a character. Plus, Octavian had to be something of an enigma. But I do see your point. The kid who played him first did do a good job. If you saw the Russell Crowe movie "Master and Commander," it is hard to believe that is the same kid/actor who played the cute little blonde boy on the ship.
I love that movie, and you can see evidence of that kid's talent even there... his facial expressions said three times what his scripted dialog did. I hope he continues his acting career... he's got a lot of potential.

I only just started watching Rome late last year.
I thought it was fabulous when Octavian told his bride-to-be that he would beat her, but it would not be because she had done anything wrong, but because he gets sexual pleasure from it. Sadly I have nothing to compare this actor too as I never saw the original actor.
To answer subverted, I've seen Sandra Romain slap a guy and tell him to fuck her harder. Also Jenna Haze. Don't know about the cumming too soon part though.

It's called a growth spurt. :) And Max Pirkis is a great talent, but what a shame he seems to have little to no interest in acting. He could be brilliant. I loved him in M&C, he held his own against Crowe and Bettanty beautifully.
