I'm finding this beauty very intriguing.

I first saw her in "Studhunters" and was rather impressed by her. She struck me as a kind of ditzy blonde who was given a chance to act in a movie and acquitted herself rather well for a slightly slow-witted, but very sweet young lady.

A few weeks later I saw a movie with one Jewel Valmont, who played an advance degreed sexologist. She was quite a sharpie and rather lovely also. Soon thereafter I discovered to my amazement that Jewel Valmont is Ava Vincent.

So today I see my second Ava Vincent movie, the aptly titled "Believe It Or Not". And again, she's an adorable bombshell, but kind of -- you know -- one egg short of a carton. But then there's an interview segment as part of the movie and she's really dressed down with no trace of the Joker-like lipstick that she favors during her scenes. And presto! She's alert, kind of urbane and projects a smart-cookie sensibility.

So I'm left to wonder, is Ava Vincent a character that she always slips into? She does such a good job with her, as she's not really a stereotypical dumb blonde. She's just a little ponderous, maybe.

Would like to hear from her fans. Am I seeing something that's not really there and just based on a quick sampling of her work?

I mostly know the old Jewel Valmont scenes, when she was a bit younger and plumper and in some cases had not even gone the full blonde look yet (esp. in Seymore Butts and Shane's World scenes she did really early). Rough Sex #1 -- all time classic scene. Some work for John Leslie (Fresh Meat 7), Joey Silvera, I think, as well. Also, Buttman's Guide to Anal Sex for Women w/Tristan Taormino. Then-RLBF Kurt Lockwood (I think) nails in her piledriver ...

She recently is back in gonzo as Ava Vincent, but haven't seen much. Her current look is a little brittle and pornified for me ... like she lost too much weight. The did some great fetish shoots for Taboo that made the most of her luscious thighs (reddened by the whip). Some James Avalon features were good, too. (Hmmm, had she wed her director, she could have been Ava Avalon).

I loved her breathless little yelps and her gap teeth and her bouncy anal performances. On balance, I probably got more out of her pre-Ava career. Either way, she's a knockout.

I'd say so, yes. The change to "Ava" was a pretty clean break ... just a typical name change, not some kind of character change. I think she's one of the better actresses in adult, in addition to having a classic movie-star face that's one of the most beautiful in porn history. My impression of her from BTS and such is not that she's in any way a "dumb blonde."

Porn doesn't often call for displays of intelligence. I don't think Ava's an idiot but, never having had a conversation with her, I don't know how smart she is either. However, I do know she's one of my faves and I'm always on the lookout for new material from her - like Seymour's Schwing! (sp?)

I talked to her briefly at AEE this year and she's not a dumb blonde at all in real life.

Haven't watched much of her lately.
But she's really hot and reminds me of the classic Hollywood era with classy blonde bombshells.

I recommend LES VAMPYRES and HUNG WANKENSTEIN.

Ava was in "Misty Beethoven: the Musical". Just a small part that, I believe, she wasn't originallyl supposed to do. But I remember that during the BTS section, she said that she had a degree in musical theatre. She came off as someone with it all together, very confident and sexy, not a dimbulb at all. Same thing in "Rawhide". I like her a lot. Sorry to hear she's doing gonzo, as there's never anything there I like to pick up.

she reminds me of Sara St. James, who's no dummy either.
