I'm glad she finally stepped forward because I think there is a fair degree of justifiable anger over how she (or whomever was posting under her name) handled her twitter account so they could milk her name for money from fans who thought they were talking to her or somehow getting fresh content. This whole "porn piracy" stance "she" took (and don't get me wrong it is a big issue and it takes money out of performers' pockets) was a weak excuse for her not performing and it always came across as someone posting under her name to keep the money coming in. So I think people were right to be pissed. It's better for her to be honest like this and say "I'm done. Goodbye" and we can all move on from there. Hope she has a great life and lives happily and privately as she wants. She was a great performer and she will be missed but she's got to do what's best for her. I just wish she had done this six months ago and hadn't let someone pose as her on twitter to keep the money rolling in. [Link]

Guess she is basing it off of the lack of recurring memberships to her site. The problem with that is her content she shot for her site was kind of weak and people would rather pay for memberships to companies that offer 2-3 updates a day. Why join her site for $25 a month and get 1 update per week of just her when you could join NA for the same price, which has at least a dozen scenes of her and 100s of other girls and releases new scenes daily. And she got paid regardless when she did scenes for companies. So it just screams of her thinking the money would be better going the "control my own content' route. Problem with that is when you shot dozens and dozens of scenes for studios people aren't going to join your site when they can watch a scene of yours from a site that already subscribe to [Link]

Click to expand I case you have read her final video message and follwed her twitter over the last months (especially the nov19 statements) it should be clear that it never was her alone controlling her account. She certainly still have many supportive fans value her and her products, so why shutting down her site ? First and foremost professional porn remains a business, exploited and ruined by Mindgeeks and their tubesites offering all of her work (and all other adult entertainers) for fucking free - and BTW without any age barrier. I m pretty sure this was the main reason why she left the industry and the public eye. So she and AVN (her webmaster) has every right keep her site up as long as there is demand.
