I agree.

I think that pound for pound, dollar for dollar, Lauren Phoenix is the best porn girl working today.

I think her beauty, her versatility, her energy and enthusiasm, and her professional approach to her work places her at the very top of the porn girl heap, and allows her to appeal to the widest possible demographic.

She ia attractive enough, she is pretty much game for anything, and after three or four years in the business, with at least the last 18 months of it being very much in demand, she still seems pretty grounded and personable.

I think what I like the most is that whether she is performing in a big budget, high production, theatrical release, or in some home garage based, throwaway, internet scene for some pimply faced kid with a webcam, she always gives the same professional effort.

She is not my favorite porn star, she is not the most beautiful porn star, she is not the most depraved porn star, but I have no problem agreeing that she is currently the best.

She deserves all the accolades she gets.

I think that maybe you missed my point.

I LOVE Katja Kassin . I love her MUCH MORE than I love Lauren Phoenix and own many more of Katja's flicks, than I do Lauren's .

But although both are wildly popular, I'm just of the opinion that Lauren's appeal might be a little more universal than Katja's . I think that Katja's appeal might be a little more specific, and I've heard of more people that don't care for Katja , than people that don't care for Lauren . Either Katja's too short, or they don't like her ethnic look, or they don't like the changing hair colors, or her accent, or they don't like her big ass, or her performances are not as volcanic as some, or whatever. I've never heard any of these complaints about Lauren . I've never heard any complaints about Lauren at all.

Trust me, if I could only have one, I would push Lauren Phoenix out of the way to get to Katja Kassin . but that's just my specific taste. I don't think most porn fans share that view.

I've posted on a lot of messageboards over the years and one thing you see a lot of is posting cliques. Don't ask me their purpose but they are a group of friends who share similar interests, ideas and opinions and choose to identify themselves as a collective. Sort of like a cyber gang but without all the cap bustin' and set trippin'.

I've been scouring ADT today for a bit and for some reason, even though it has crossed my mind many a time before, it really hit me hard today.

BSD, JAGnLA, Pocketcomb_Pimp and Crucifixio_Jones would make the most awesome posting clique ever assembled. The combined knowledge, fanboy-ism and articulation would almost be unfair to the rest of ADT.

I've got to get my head together now to add my thoughts about Lauren.

I appreciate the kind words, but in almost ten years of bumping around in different forums on the 'net, I've seen lots of these "clique" situations, and they were almost always destructive and led to misunderstanding and unhappiness.

I dig and value everybody in here for the unique or funny perspectives they bring to the table. Besides, a lot of those people that Walter mentioned are heros to me, and I certainly don't want to be on Walter's enemies list.

I agree that if you stay here long enough, you begin to see people who's tastes or views are similar to yours, or with whom you feel a kinship, like me and you and P.P and Asmodeus, among others, but that's not always a guarantee of harmony. Ramsey and I have the exact same tastes in women and almost the exact same porn fetishes, yet he and I wind up fighting a lot. Don't know why, cuz he's a pretty nice guy.

I guess I'm just a dick.

You have to respect Lauren's skills. She's hot, does everything well and shoots a ton of scenes. Of the performers I have watched the only one that I would put in her class right now is Cytherea.
