Hi everyone. I heard about a website called FuckingMachines.com where they sell videos of women masturbating with high-tech machinery. Looked pretty cool, so I tried to order some tapes and have them sent to my residence in Western New York. I received the following message at checkout:

"We cannot ship to your area. Please go back and provide a different shipping address. (Your area has a history of prosecuting companies that ship adult material to you.) Note: Please do not send us cash/check in the mail and expect us to ship to you. We will gladly keep your money, but will will not ship your videos!"

I was shocked, since this is considered a liberal, democratic state, and have never had problems in nearly 20 years of having all kinds of porn shipped here.

I thought the only "problem states" that companies wont ship to were Utah, Arkansas, and a couple others. Is this true? Has anyone else heard of problems shipping to New York state? Is this something we need to worry about, with "Dubya" in office? I was hoping it was a computer error, so I contacted customer service and they pretty much said "Sorry, but your zip code, and several others in your area are on the exclusion list." I'm STILL hoping this is a company error, and not a sign of things to come in this area. What do you all think?

By the way, I found another website, Spindoll.com selling the Fucking Machines videos, and they shipped them to me no problem. It's pretty good stuff, check it out!

That's pretty strange not shipping to New York.

I like some of those stuff from Fuckingmachines but will only buy them if they will release some stuff on DVD. Tapes is a waste of money.

Western New York State and New York City (what most people typically think of when they think New York) are very different places.

The western tip of New York State is pretty much directly north of the Western District of Pennsylvania (which is where Extreme has recently been indicted on obscenity charges).

I wouldn't be at all surprised if a retailer took out a compass and drew a circle of a hundred mile radius of the Western District of PA and said, We're not shipping to addresses within this circle.

Thanks for the info. Bill, that's interesting... I didn't know of the litigation troubles Extreme was having just south of here. This certainly isn't New York city, but it's still considered a liberal area. If they're drawing compasses, it bothers me. What, are they afraid that someone in Pennsylvania has freinds across the state line that can hook them up with porn?

Regarding the vids: yeah, I agree that tapes suck and I was hoping they'd be available in DVD format also. I really could have used some chapter stops when I was watching them the other day! The picture quality was very good though; and I was extremely pleased with the camera work. They zoomed in at all the right times, and captured all the right angles. I liked it much better than the "Screaming Orgasms" series which insists on over-using that stupid P.O.V. camera angle.

Yeah, I know the machines aren't really "high-tech" but I couldn't think of a better word. Thanks for the responses!
