Remember what I said previously about 'horror' porn? Perfect example of why I will never understand the appeal of it: the DVD title is Feed Me where supposedly Lulu Chu portrays a girlfriend or wife who is taken over by a succumbus, unlike in the mainstream movie Jennifer's Body . . . someone had the bright idea to simulate teeth in a pussy. I gave up when I saw that image because I didn't want to overdose on Viagra or need a penile implant in the event that I permanently lose my ability to get an erection. I have a side gig writing porn site reviews for a review site. I'll review anything and be objective about it. I remember there was a lesbian based 'alien' scene with one of my favorites and it came across the same way the Alien V Predator Requiem movie did; so over the top that it was more corny and silly rather than menacing, thrilling or erotic. Remember when the Alien hybrid goes into the hospital and injects the eggs into the pregnant woman? That's not horror, that's disgusting and pathetic; I've never seen a Parasited scene but I saw the previous of a trend that is just as bad. Live action Hentai porn, for the love of everything sacred - WHY?? The reason why anime works is because you can suspend disbelief easier when it comes to cartoons, same with hentai porn cartoons, trying to make it live action is about as graphic and disturbing as you would imagine. I don't review porn like you do but I can appreciate porn scenes objectively even if it's not my cup of tea. Normally I feel like everyone is entitled to their niche, heck JAV porn takes the whole CNC fetish/gimmick to new levels often with American female performers. I don't object that because it works despite the controversial themes at work. But the new trend into horror or alien or hentai based porn scenes is just too over the top for my tastes. I've even commented on the whole Futanari gimmick where they borrowing from Japan with the whole androgyny theme where female performers suddenly are sporting strapons to fuck a partner with. I said with people like Casey Kisses and Jade Venus along with a ton of other transgender female performers, you can't find a single one of them to be in these scenes? The strapon is an insult if you're going for something organic and real for lack of a better word. It's like studios don't know how to put trans performers in roles that are arguably tailored exactly for them.
Just a little industry context: parodies are possible because the US laws are very generous. Both parodies and comedy are VERY popular with the performers. Even if they do a bad job at it, they love attempting it. They have no delusions of being serious actors or comedians. They just like to do something different besides gonzo or the regular story lines. If a production day is going to last 12 hours, they would much rather spending those 12 hours doing something different. And girls love dressing up.
^ That's really interesting and always useful getting the perspective of someone who actually knows what they're talking about! Personally I'm fine with parodies and humour as long as it doesn't go on for too long.

You actually hit upon something that I've felt adversely affects relatively new and some veteran talent. Lack of creative control leading to boredom and I'm willing to bet there's at least three to five favorites of mine who retired due to that. With the direction the industry is heading in, studios should trust the talent more to have more input in scenes that will both sell and allow them to expand their range.
Add this to the list, if you are going to have spanking in a scene - actually SPANK or don't bother. Saw a scene with this light little barely there smacks which is just lame as hell.

This is a weird one I know but I prefer it when the talent undresses each other rather than undressing themselves, it's much hotter that way. ^I'm so with you on this.
