Amongst porn girls I'd say Aurora is the girl who broke the mold.

I think the switch from 90's silicons to the current natural look just happened over time. After all the women (not just in porn) started to look the same (blonde, big fake boobs) men eventually grew bored and they demanded something different. Currently Playboy is even boycotting fake boobs because we've all seen it before. This trent has been going on in Europe for some time already (before people even heard of Britney) and the US is following now.

So even though girls like Britney, Cristina, Jessica and all the other MTV chicks had some minor influence i doubt they are the main reason many porn-addicts now want the natural/petite girls.

ps: Although Britney Spears is goodlooking i dont really think she looks "natural", as a matter of fact, i consider her to be a good example of an "unnatural" look. The average 18-19 girl in women's gymnastics looks 100 times more natural than her.

ps2: Anyone notice a "polish trent" right now? I seem to see lots of polish girls on the adult internet sites nowadays. Are the czech girls getting too expensive or is poland more accesable now that the borders in europe are gone?

Maybe Paris Hilton has cracked the door open for the possibility of hot mainstream chicks doing porn if they feel like it.
Can you imagine Christina Aguilera doing porn? Some of her stuff is just barely on the mainstream side of the "line" as it is. I don't think her fans would care less if she did porn... would probably make her more popular than ever!

I think the shift to younger girls didn't happen until recently because of the lingering Traci Lords effect, but enough time has passed now. Like how it's okay to wear 70's fashions again because enough time has passed, but you would have been crucified had you tried to wear that stuff back in the 80's.

Also, the fetishes have taken over porn and 18 year olds are perhaps the single biggest fetish, so those series broke out in a big way as part of the overall fetishizing process.

The vast majority of the "super nasty" girls are small petite girls and thier stardom has seemed to rise with the up until recently anyway, trend of ever rising extreme acts. Lets be honest, the girl next door barely legal type of woman is no new sensation, but now, that physical profile seems to be the one that best matches the most popular sex performances now. I think girls like Amee Donavan, and Briana Banks, and Jenna Haze help to show that too. Amee and Briana came in and where willing to be nasty, and thier note took off up the rankings, Briana moved to vivid, and now her inner industry buzz has seemed to lessen, and on the other side, Jenna Haze came in was nasty as hell, won everyone over, and then switched to lez and feature stuff, and her star is kind of on the decline.

To me that shows it is the sex acts that are dictating things, not so much the performers, right now those petite girls are still the majority in that genre, and if more larger breasted super babes go in that direction, I think things would shift back again. Like I said, just my oppinion, but that is what it seems like more than one person or thing.

All these small wrestling federations started to become very extreme, they had to outdo eachother in order to stand out from the large wrestling scene.

At the same time as wrestling became more extreme, stuff like DAPs, ATMs etc started to show up in the adult industry (mainly in Extreme Associates, which had a direct link to PXP wrestling). Anyone know how much the 2 industries have effected eachother? Or is it just a coincidence that both industries became more extreme at the same time?

i read somewhere there's a biological component to this. younger girls tend to be more fertile or something like that which attracts the senses. not exactly sure how accurate this theory is but maybe they just have tighter pussies.
