I called 411, found a store in my town that repairs /build computers. This guy states he can build me a computer with a 2 tb
harddrive, 4 g bs ram. Dvi port and regular hdmi. He says he will upgrade to windows ten for me. But he would look to get all the updates from Microsoft first. He said an individual has to install the antivirus system/ firewall ( Kaspersky) after the windows ten is upgraded so there will be no problems and then i would be good to go. Warranty= three years for everything except virus. $100.00 to remove viruses when they show up. He declares he has been in business 22 years. He likes Norton, his perference. Cost = $1,000.
Some say glitches take up to a year to get Microsoft to clean up. I am in need of a desktop and really not sure about this guy. Last time
i went to a solo guy for repair was a night mare. I just want to get a computer to write a book, browse internet and burn porn movies to dvd , i want a lot of porn. I feel like i am going crazy without my own desktop. Advice welcome.Thank u for reading. I wish u all well.
He also said he will only do Intel, i don't know why though. The guy also said that windows 7 he can install and will be viable for a long time. I read that Microsoft will not be supporting it for much longer. Please help.

Your description of the machine isn't complete enough to tell how good or bad a deal he's offering you. It could be that he's selling you a machine that will cost him $500 or less to produce, and the rest is profit and whatever kind of warranty/handholding he's claiming to be providing.
The "wait for the first Service Pack" trope is outdated. Windows 10 went through a lengthy, extensive open beta testing process. So did Windows 8. So did Windows 7. Windows 10 works fine, and there is, in my opinion, no good reason not to have it installed on a new, run-of-the-mill home PC from the outset at this point.
Also IMHO, the perceived need for Norton, Kaspersky or any other third party antivirus/firewall products is also outdated. These functions are built into Windows now.

I respect your opinion but I'm skeptical. I don't put a lot of faith in Microsoft's quality. If it's anything like BING, having a third party source for security is a good idea.

Why don´t you take a look at amazon.com and you get some information about pc hardware ?
Try to look for Dell optiplex I7 or MSI I7 systems.
