They would just be totally silent or perhaps emit just a couple of very soft moans every once in a while. It's just beginning to dawn on me that all this loud moaning being done really seems fake and takes away from the total impact of a scene. I just think I would enjoy a lot of great scenes even more if there was no moaning at all. [Link]

I tend to get far more aroused by sound than the mere sight of what may be going-on on the screen. Call it what you like -- moaning/gasping -- but that is the real turn on for me. Over the top, as said here -- no matter how realistic, does kill the mood. Can't think of a star off the top of my head that does this but I have certainly seen (and heard) it before. I think the reason I like Sunrise Adams so much is of course her beautiful body but how she reacts physically as well as orally when she is having sex in a film. I was a little freaked, but her husband looked over and said, "Oh don't worry. This happens all the time." A minute or so later so revived (with a smile on her face) and they went right back at it!
