the one in the link is the
Sony HDR-FX1 HDV

and from what i here that one is bad cus of the LCD
display makes a clicking sound when u move it that drowns
out any other sound in the room i have also heard bad things about the focusand white balance of the cam in the link .


as for the model you mention i know of a couple peeps in the "BIZ" that do in fact use the HVR-A1U HDV cam and
they have seed they like it .

Crap. Plastic body. Your every hand movement and bone creak comes out on tape. Spend the extra money and get the Z1U. It's the same camera, better construction and with XLR audio jacks.
