Well today I was having a massive clear out and managed to chuck out a number of redundant items that have been lurking in my wardrobes for years (think 90s ties and double breasted suits). Anyway, it got me thinking - over the years I have bought my fair share of porn and, while I have got rid of all the old VHS stuff, I just can't seem to bring myself to throw any DVDs away (unless they were truly awful and I threw them away shortly after purchase). I keep them in wallets rather than cases so they don't take up much space but, even then, I hate having things about the place for no reason, yet every time I try and do a clear out at best I end up binning one old unloved Vivid compilation. Does anyone else have a small stash of old ex-favourites that they never watch or have you guys all managed to move with the times? Any tips on how to break ties to the past?

Unless you have zero interest in a DVD, I would save them. What I do is I store them on a large Cake style DVD spindle, either a 30 or 50 DVD spindle. I do this with all my video. I got the Cake spindles from when they came with Blank DVDs. It takes up no space and it is fast to find the DVD you want. I used to use DVD cases, plastic and paper sleeves and got tired of them, it became a nuisance. This is a sample image of what I store my DVDs.

Sacrilege! I think I have later regretted throwing away almost every porn movie I have binned. I often get the urge to go back and view some obscure scene.

I have sadly weeded out some old porn that I
have wondered why I pitched that out months later.
I now save them and enter every name on a disc. This way
when I read something really cool on ADT I can go back and compare notes.

i never throw away porn f-that!! you'll be kicking yourself in the ass when you want to watch it later and its discontinued i keep mine in a case logic unless its a double sided dvd hate those

I've gotten rid of some things, mostly vhs and magazines, but the DVD's I generally keep. Since I don't buy that many discs, and I tend to research them before I buy them, most of what I own works well for me. Though for reasons of space I've thought of dumping the cases and using a disc spindle.

I have cleaned out my collection a time or two, mostly old titles coverted from vhs to dvd that didn't have any favorite performers. I have my cd's in either a cake style spindle or a 208 dvd binder with all titles in a database to keep track of what I have.

Back in the early 90's I was single and keeper of the porn for myself and two friends. We had no DVDs or VHS tapes but had amassed a collection of close to 750 3 1/2" (mostly AOL and CompuServe) floppies filled with downloaded single pics. About five years back I came across the box that they were in and with consent I trashed them all. Good times.

i have surely more porn than i can ever watch but i´m a collector. Most stuff has been so expensive to get i don´t want to get rid of it even if i don´t watch it anymore (VHS who never made it to dvd). This is a game one can not win

I find myself going back to 90s and early 00s porn a lot these days. The only reason I throw something away is that its bad and that I should never have gotten it in the first place. I also put everything on my computer since storage is relatively cheap these days. A 2-3Tb drive is a very cheap backup for DVDs/Blurays, and extremely practical.
