I got into a rather heated argument with some people on another forum about this issue. The woman had gotten her life straight and into a regular office job a number of years later. One of the men at work recognized her in a porn and emailed the link around to everyone at the office. The people who were arguing against me said that was an invasion of privacy, to which I countered you give up your right to "privacy" when you sign up to do porn and that you may suffer future consequences such as job loss, demotions etc. They wouldn't hear of it. Their assertion was that she had done nothing wrong and that the people at work were invading her privacy and should be fired due to sexual harrassement. So who's right in a case like this? [Link]

Click to expand The answer is no but then again which teen or even young adult is really capable of understanding that some of their actions have serious repercussions now and long after they did those things. You Tube is filled with young people doing stupid things that can and probably will be used to judge them. It's too bad but that's life. That said. I believe that someone who did porn and then chose another career should not have their past occupation used against them. I'm sure that there are some jobs where that might not apply but those are the exception rather than the rule. The example you gave of the guy posting a video of the past star in no way reflects badly on her and really makes the guy look like the biggest douchebag creep of all time.
