I know a lot of girls use almost the same kind of name as other girls but what's the deal with this new girl calling herself Tiffany Minx? She's in Mama Likes The Black Cock. I mean does she really want to benefit from the rep of the legendary Mynxster? This vexes me. I am terribly vexed.

Tiffany Mynx is in my top 5 all time favorite list. Can't blame the new girl for wanting to be like the one and only Tiffany Mynx...but using her name is a bit too much. Does she look anything like Tiffany?

She is British so may simply have not known of the American performer when she chose a name.
On her bgafd page is says "picture removed by request" which is usually a sign that the girl has quit the business so you don't have to worry about her any more.

Tiffany Mynx was the name of a movie in 1981 long before Shannon Cummings* picked it up. I can't remember if I saw this movie or not but I remember the title cause it was always on the shelf both on the betamax side & VHS side.
Likewise Hillary Scott was a well known porn actress in the early 80s whom I remembered appeared in a porn parody of the 'Dallas' tv show. Both Hillary Scotts are great in the sack however.

But if you're gonna do porn and you know there's already a Tiffany Mynx than it's only a small courtesy to pick another name right. I thought the same when Candi Apples started doing movies being a big Candy Apples fan myself.

Most girls come and go in the business so quickly that it isn't a big deal for their stage name to get re-used. But I agree with Ramsey on this one. Tiffany Mynx was in the business for so long it would be like someone using "Ginger Lynn" or "Amber Lynn" over again. Or "Jenna Jameson" for that matter.
Moreso than the affront to the original performer, it actually doesn't make sense to do something like this. It just isn't smart.

I think porn should follow what they do in sports. When a pornstar has reached the legendary status of Tiffany Mynx, her name should be retired. No one can ever call themselves Tiffany Minx or whatever "change" in spelling and hope to be unique.

Ginger Lynn - becomes - Jinger Linn
Amber Lynn - becomes - Ahmber Lenn
Jenna Jameson - becomes - Jinna Lee Jamesson
