^ One of the more interesting thing I've found since I started visting this site is the posting of girls who've "retired" or "quit" the business. It's very often the case that if I didn't come here I wouldn't know most of the girls quit the business until probably a year or so after the fact. Also, much more often many girls who "retire" I would never realize they did because they un-retire and get back in the game before I would've realized they even left. There's a fav girl of mine who someone said recently retired but I continued to see new releases come out with her in it and just yesterday I saw someone post a twitter from her talking about a scene she just shot.
I know Tiffany Mynx had been gone for awhile because she's always had a pattern of shooting for awhile and then leaving. But the reports of many other performers reported here about a girl "retiring", I tend to think a lot of these girls are just taking a break and someone jumps the gun or just reports it wrong and/or use the word "retire". Or the girl really planned on retiring and then end up coming back before most casual fans who even miss them. Either way I'm just going to try and ignore and "retirement" threads in the future.

you are so right about what you wrote. The word "retire" is IMHO very often missused or reported wrong. Companies tent to shoot scenes for "future" releases. sometimes they release those scenes when a performer is in "retirement". For the fan it looks like she never left because by the time she gets "back" they start to shoot like crazy to fill up the "retirement release scenes box"
Even if we would have a thread to look at in order to know who is on or off who would maintain it ? and how correct would it be ?
I would vote for such a thread but than we need to have another one with all the "new" releases being spotted
