I was going to buy Cupid's Arrow (Wicked) at ADE because I wanted the big kickback, but it doesn't show up in the price search. They do have it at the site. Is there any way to get it added?

Many thanks if that can get done.

I've noticed that titles can be very slow to show up in the price search, this is a regular occurance. Sometimes it's a few days behind, sometimes it's weeks behind actual availability. I don't know exactly how the price search works, or how the titles are added to the database, whether the online store enters it into the search or if someone at ADT does. Either way, it's usually a few days behind at the very least.
I see movies show up at my local store before they show up in the price search. And my local store is at least a week behind stores in the US when it comes to getting titles instock.

it depends on when stores add the titles. it depends on if there is another title spelled exactly the same. it depends on how stores spell the titles.

we manually maintain much of the price search and would be happy to add any titles people request to be added. it is an endless amount of work to keep up the database.

we list tons of preorders. so i don't think it's fair to say that the price search is always behind on new releases.

It's generally a manual process all handled by ADT. With 200 - 300 new DVDs hitting the streets each week and over 25 retailers represented the amount of data entry is extraordinary. It's further complicated by the fact that so many of the production companies can't come up with original titles and use the same ones that their competitors are using. We try to keep up best we can.
