Adultdvdempire.com is one of the largest, if not THE largest, online adult retailers. 50 to 1 #1 is that site's 1,130th all-time best seller. A GOOD SOURCE OF IRON #5, released 4 months previously, is that site's 2,307th all-time best seller and was more expensive to produce. It has been forever since I have shot for A GOOD SOURCE OF IRON and haven't put it on the schedule. Not sure how it's going to be cut or if I should break it into 2 separate volumes. If I keep it as one disc, there are more loads than any other volume in the series. Sorry for the delay but sales rule the roost. More people buy 50 to 1 then AGSOI. It's just business. [Link]

My preference is to build up 50 to 1, BAKER'S DOZEN, TEN LITTLE PIGGIES, PHOTOGRAPHIC MAMMARIES, and possibly INTENSITIES IN 10 CITIES (depending on how the next one does). [Link]

I have an idea - what about shooting a compromise between AGSOI and 50 to 1 ? What about movie with a title 25 to 2. 25 girls against Brandon and some of his buddies (for example Arnold Schwartzenpecker as a good load shooter). Same production costs with less production days, same length of the movie (each scene with 15 minutes), but better mouthfuls for us, swallowing fans. I know, this formula is nothing new, but with Brandon´s POV-camera could it be great. Sorry if this thought was mentioned earlier here (and sorry for my grammatic too). [Link]

Click to expand I stopped I LOVE IT ROUGH because I thought it could have been much rougher and the consensus at the company was to avoid controversy. I don't want to make anything so "out there" that it attracts a lot of unwanted negative attention. I just want to grow my small productions and make them bigger and better. BELL BOTTOMS was never the strongest seller for me and I felt like it was taking on a factory-style way of doing things. I don't want to make movies like everyone else at the company is making. I want unique stuff that is like a signature. PIGGIES is a loss leader insofar as I put more into it than some other series (double discs for Vols. 7 and 8, more girls than most releases) yet it goes out the door in lower numbers due to its classification as a fetish product. I am the only one at Platinum X who does something like it which makes it interesting for me. [Link]
Cumwhipper Senior Member 4050 Posts 3/04	Posted - Apr 9 2006 : 10:28PM Much as I hate the thought of no more "Good Source" releases after #6 (and perhaps #7, if Brandon decides to split up all the footage), I have to say that Brandon's been more than gracious answering everyone's questions about his choices, and if he chooses to stop a particular series (whether for financial reasons, or because he's just getting tired of it), then I say, cut him some slack. I mean, the guy has put out some of the most amazing gonzo stuff EVER. Good Source is among the best swallowing series ever made in my humble opinion. I know the Japanese have girls swallowing liters(!) of cum, and that's awesome, but I still prefer to see cute girls who speak English doing the deed - it's much hotter to hear the dirty talk and the reactions of the girl and the performers. Not to mention all the great performances in front of the camera - esp. in series like Throat Gaggers, Fuck Dolls, Service Animals, etc. (the list is unbelievably long!). My bet is that Brandon probably has some other concepts percolating, and who knows what kind of crazy shit he might get done in the next few years. That is, if he even decides to keep making porn. He could even get tired of that. But ultimately these are his decisions. I just think it's time to acknowledge Brandon's myriad contributions to this "platinum" age of porn. I hope he keeps putting out this great stuff for a long time, but even if he doesn't he's given the fans MANY hours of pleasure. Thanks and Kudos to Brandon! [Link]
