The movie itself is very good, I'd loved to see these czech chicks getting fucked really hard. What I complain about is the DVD itself. It's a good thing to put as much bonus footage as possible on the disc, but I have to say this is way too much. The main film in the director's cut is 162 min. long. Then we have 7 min. Behind-The-Scenes, 23 min. Jackie Moore bonus scene and 25 Trailers of 32 min. length. Total ca. 225 min. That is too much for a DVD-9 without losing picture quality. And it's obvious on the DVD that you lose picture quality. There are a lot of artifacts in every scene, especially in the bonus scene with Jackie Moore. When she gets a hard fucking in doggie position from Erik all you see are artifacts. For me this is disturbing. So my suggestion is: only a few trailers or no bonus scene. IMHO it's way better to have 20 or 30 min. less of footage, but good picture quality without artifacts. Another possibility is to put the extras on a second disc. [Link] |

Isn't the whole point of making dvd's so that we have better quality picture than vhs? right now that isn't the case with a lot of RLD's titles. I know that RLD's strategy is to have a lot of releases on the market at a low cost, but if they have to cut any corners, I wish they would reduce the extras and not compromise the picture quality. I don't know all of the technical details, but I would think that a tradeoff could be made between paying for mastering of less material per DVD and having a better job done with the compression, etc. for the material that is included. Also, I realize that trailers are important for promotion, advertising, etc., but this really should be the first thing to consider if something has to be left off of the disk. It seems as if there were over 20 on the last RLD that I saw. Try 5-10, or maybe try using shorter trailers? I'm still a big fan of RLD, but the image quality issue is beginning to take up more of my consideration of whether or not to view their releases. It may be time to make another adjustment; cut down on the extras, but perhaps also on the length of the primary action as well, maybe down to two hours from 140 minutes. Just a suggestion. In this case I would be willing to accept less material for better image quality. [Link] |

This is half an hour less than on the DVDs from the ex-Anabolic guys, so I think it has to do with the movie length in total. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think they must reduce the bitrate to get all on one DVD side, and then you get the pixelation. [Link] |
