I just read a rumor on stunningcurves.com that Extreme might be closing up shop and Tom Byron might be the next director for Red Light District. Dion if you read this thread can you give us a hint. If this happens, Red Light District will be quite a studio. Watch out Anabolic/Diabolic and the "Angels." RLD will be a serious force to contend with.

With TB on their team, I second that!

I just got an email saying that RLD is moving to a bigger facility, so this could be true.

I'll await word from RLD or Dion, before getting out me dancing shoes. But if this be true,

Look Guys, as you know I used to work with Tommy at Elegant Angel, I haven't spoke with him since he left Elegant Angel, I was a big fan of his work, I would be willing to talk to him, I won't go looking for him, but he can call me at Red Light District, I must admit he would fit in real nice at R.L.D.

Hey, it's no biggy. If they get him, great. If not, Lex is all set to impale women for RLD!

Interesting rumor. I heard that one as well, but there were two other big companies who were said to have a spot waiting for Tommy when/if Extreme closes down.

I've also heard that a retooled Extreme might be ready to make some moves....then again, I hear a lot of crazy shit.

Quiz time.....according to sources, a certain gonzo director is the highest paid at a daily rate for 4,000 bucks. Anyone want to take a guess as to who that director might be?

My guess would be Jules Jordan. His releases fly off the shelves upon release. He is probably the only director right now that can justify that kind of pay.

Good guess, but since Jules owns his own stuff, he doesn't really get a director's fee. (And a hint, I didn't say that this guy deserves his fee.) :-)

I just wish Zupko and Fontana would find a new home because they make my favorite Extreme movies. Zupko is one of the most talented director out there and I think it's a shame he has no place right now!

I've never been a Tom Byron fan ;-)

Yes I do. I was actually thinking that...

but wishfull thinking, on my part, made me blind to the truth, anywho, here's wishing Tommy is reading this forum and will join up with a winning team.

Tommy and Red Light? Great combo if you ask me, but another good combo would be Tommy at Evil Angel, whichever. All would be good.

We disagree on Tom B, but we all know that. Tommy will find a home if he needs to.

Zupko, on the other hand is going to have a tough time. He had a really good home at Extreme because they let him do the crazy shit that he wanted to do. Some of his stuff was brilliant, some of it was not. The problem is that it's all too edgy for feature companies like VCA, Vivid, Wicked, even Private and it's not wall to wall enough for RLD, Anabolic or even Evil Angel. (That just didn't work well.)

Personally I'd like to hear from Zupko again. I'm a little worried about him. Professionally, I don't know what is going to happen to him. If he can't find a home, that would be sad because when he is on, he makes other feature directors look silly.

I think that Zupko could fit in well at Elegant Angel.
Mason and William H are doing some rough type vignette hardcore at Elegant, and I think that Zupko could fit in there if he toned down all the alien/mummy/vampire bullshit.
It's the only studio I can think of where he might find a home. But he's just too unpredictable sometimes. His movies are either really good or really bad. There's no inbetween with his stuff. If he could tone down on the silly cotumes etc, and if they gave him some talented girls to work with, he would make some fine porn.

Hi,
well, we know Byron won't end up at Elegant Angel, I don't know what his relationship with John, Tricia & Evil Angel is these days and I don't know if his favored style of multiple girl/single guy porn would be a good fit with Ana/Dia. So unless its a company like Devil's Films or Celestial, I would think Red Light offers the best home for him. Just as long as its anywhere other than Extreme. I really miss watching his stuff.

Hmm Rog you got me stumped. Maybe Michael Stefano AKA Luciano? He must have gotten a deal to leave Extreme when he did. Hey what about Skeeter Kerkove? I don't think he is a severely talented director but he is good at capturing scenes of shock value. Otherwise maybe one of the Private directors other than J Yves Lecastel. Let me know if I come close.

Hey everyone;
I'm new in this forum, but I've worked briefly for Extreme
and met Tommy and Rob Black. I find them real nice guys. I don't think they're going out of biz soon, but who knows I may be wrong. I have a lot of respect and admiration for Tommy and his body of work. I've been working for Patrick Collins and that's one of the reasons for not being with the extreme team. At Elegant Angels I've been working on improving the older titles with bonus stuff for DVD re releases and I had the chance to see the rough stuff shot by Tommy on his early Cumback Pussy series. He's even more amazing than what I thought !! It's just incredible stuff. You guys gotta check the stuff that is coming out from those re releases ... I've been also fortunate enough to be directing the new titles of Cumback Pussy, starting with the up coming one in march Cumback Pussy #49.
Please give me some input of what you would like to see in these series and I'll keep you posted.

I asked Patrick about hiring Zupko and he said "Hell no." I think he was pretty clear about it :-)

I do agree though, it's a possible fit for him...maybe, MAYBE Kick Ass or JM Productions as well.

Hi Maximum;
I Have Sugar Walls #38 just out on this month of Feb.
It's my first all American movie. I'm originally from Brazil, see, and besides shooting for a lot of Producers in Br. I've done some stuff for few Hispanic companies here in LA ... Now I'm with The Elegant Angel family and it's been great !! We have lots of new directors; a new General Manager and many new movies coming out soon !! Like I mention before I'll be directing Cumback Pussy and later on my own series called "BanANAL
Style" ... ; ) ... It's a brazilian preference, you know ...
No wonder John and Patrick have been going to my Country so many times and everyone knows them down there .
Wouldn't be cool if we could have Tommy back with us? Even Rob Black ! They have done so many great movies here. Believe me; I seen it all and I have a lot of respect for them .

Which one is the rumour? Extreme going belly-up or Tomby joining RLD?

Extreme going belly-up: still to be confirmed, but well...

Tom joining RLD: Dion DID said that Tom would be welcome at RLD, so the open door is fact , not rumour.

Tom Byron (and Rob Black) have insulted Stagliano and Evil Angel many times in the past so I doubt Tom will end up at Evil Angel.

I wonder if Zupko could fit into the Subvision team, he and Slayne Wayne could work magic together.

Anal Ball was simply awesome, great editing and that Montana Gunn scene was mindblowing and the same goes for the Caroline Pierce scene (I'm a huge Caroline Pierce fan myself). I still can't believe Stagliano fired him back then because he could have made some great movies for Evil Angel. He showed that at Extreme!

As Ron Jeremy, I love to watch his scenes because I believe it's an honour to watch The Legend in action.
