While checking scenes of favorite stars, I see a bunch of Step-Siblings theme with the stars in them. Is there really a huge fetish for this type of porn? I can understand everyone has a different taste and niche, but do most people really enjoy step-sibling scenario?

I thinks it´s unnecesary and gives me a bad taste while watching ; which I sometimes do when the girl is hot .

I suspect that there is more step-relationship porn now than in the past but it is still primarily done in lesbian porn. That's not to say that you don't have a level of b/g step-sibling porn but lesbian porn wins out on total output. Most studios do such a poor job of emphasizing the step-relationship that within about two minutes of any scene. That relationship is no longer used to add or detract from the overall scene. I would even argue that it more often than not a distraction because the women simply can't play the role as it should be played and therefore why even bother having it.
I don't go seeking porn scenes just because they have a step-sibling relationship in them. I would much rather they skip the entire step-sibling porn shit if they can't do a decent job with the theme. Give me two long time friends, two neighbors, two students or any other permutation that is common in porn over step-B.S. I think that porn producer who want to have some kind of family themed porn scene should simply do it right and not use the term "step" but instead have the guts to say sister, brother, mother or father and go with that.

That's the porn business for you... someone has success with a niche and everybody else beats it into the ground.

If there's a lot of it that means it's popular and there's a large audience for it. If there's a genre in porn that's pulling in a large audience I say that's a great thing. It's not like having this type of porn is preventing other types of porn from being made.

^&^^Yeah but the same can be said for anything the entertainment industry puts out. In music if a type of song or sound is popular than every artist tries to emulate that sound or type. In TV it's even more obvious. There are how many cooking shows, how many real Housewives shows, how many survival type shows, how many bachelor/bachelorette shows how many crime drama shows, how many lawyer type shows and I could go on.
I have two theories as to why that is. The first is like you have both said. If it sells then anyone looking to make money will copy another person work in the hope that they can get a piece of the pie. I'm not thrilled with that mentality both in the mainstream industry and in the adult industry but at least it makes sense. Sadly I think that a large part of why so many people copy other peoples work is that they don't have no imagination and the best they can do is emulate/copy the work of other producers.

If you do a scene and toss in the word stepmom or stepsister in there, it'll sell more than without. It's just extremely popular right now. I've not really done it yet, but I can see why a lot of people are.

It's honestly a matter of personal opinion: I'd argue there's entirely too many anal fiends & gaping fanatics who simply aren't satisfied until everything from dicks to a fist to a Louisville slugger or a combination of all three can be stuck into someone's ass. Then there are the interracial loyalists who will swear by black on white, that there's nothing more satisfying than watching a white woman get penetration by hung black stud. The adult industry is a business at heart, admittedly a very intimate one but it's business. Fauxcest sells and given the money that is being lost due to the internet along with piracy, you give your paying customers what they will spend every nickel for.
