For the scene to be "filmed right and at a good bitrate" can still result in a mess if those cutting, splicing and correcting the video don't have a good enough technical standing of video editing. | dwaadt Member 115 Posts 11/11 | Posted - Jun 16 2021 : 7:52AM Going back a few years bitrates were 12Mbps at 1080p and seem to be fine and was just down to filming techniques if the scene had issues. Today bitrates have dropped for bandwidth and improved codecs. The biggest issue today is 4k where most of the major studios are producing well shot scenes but the content is at 15.1Mbps which is not high enough for any 4k content. I subscribed to few sites where one uses high bitrate 30-50Mbps and the others 15.1 and it is night and day in quality when scenes shot well. With many scenes filmed in white light or bright colour scenarios or outdoor scenes it is getting exposed at higher resolutions. [Link] |
