I sought in the web information of that magazine of Pierre Woodman and it didn't find. Now after seeing the cover girls I have more one reason to be with "water in the mouth " because I don't have access the this magazine here in my country.
There's a small niche of fans who are interested in this kind of things, and it was really fun doing it with noproblemo. So, for the two or three people out there who care, there's more hot stuff coming: part 1 of my Woodman section, devoted to THE Woodman's movie "Golden Triangle" aka "The Bali Connection". Tentative title: "DROP THAT GUN, SALOPE!" - THE TRUTH ABOUT THE BALI CONNECTION, with info about the movie, info about the girls sbandoindex-style and an incredibly brilliant article by noproblemo which will chronicle the making of this somewhat enigmatic movie. Rare stuff included: scans by me, if I can get my paws on my Canonscan, by nobroplemo, if he buys a scanner, and by Fannatastic (which I'll have to bribe).

Private didn't throw this dvd; Pierre doesn't sign as director. possible existence of a smaller of age in the cast; bribe to authorities policemen; I wait for Sbando that you uncover this puzzle. Does this movie also have a rare (unique?) anal scene with Rebecca Lord.

Walter is correct (no surprise there). This was Rebecca's only commercially available anal scene for quite some time, however she has now performed several. The Jill Kelly comp video "Secrets" contains the anal scene Rebecca shot for her web site as her "1st" anal. This is available on DVD but as there are one or two other vids titled "Secrets" be sure you get the correct one. Passion Tales 4 has another anal, but has not been released on DVD yet (are they crazy?), and additional 'home video' material is available through her web site.
Tony: Triple X 3 (the one with Regina on the cover) has a special feature about GT.
The director's name is never mentioned, though, there are no pictures of leading lady Natacha, who becomes "Sasha" when they narrate the "Drop the gun, salope" little story (she didn't drop the gun, 'cos Philippe Soine forgot to add "salope" -bitch- at the end of his line, and salope was the only French word she knew. "He didn't say salope!")
Rebecca Lord probably did a bunch of anal scenes when Salieri directed her around '94, mostly for the "Cronaca Nera" series, about sexual blackmails. She also took part in some of those controversial movies about ethnic rapes in the Yugoslavian civil war.
The theory is that Woodman shot GT in two different sessions, travelling back to Bali with most of the French actresses, AFTER he had done all the scenes with the Russians and the Thai girls.
The mystery about his alleged arrest is still undisclosed. But, back then, Private used to play a lot with this element of "risk": shooting in Countries where pornography is a crime, public sex under the Eiffel Tower or on top of the Mont Blanc. The memorable pictorial with Debbie Van Gils at the Pierre Lachaise cemetery. They also staged a fake "arrest" of their director during the shooting of "The Tower", the last movie that Woodman did as a Private employee and under Peter Backman's supervision.
The underage girl story: all the Bali Connection girls came back, at one point or another, in magazines or in Castings, including Natacha, suspect n°1. The vhs version of the movie has been available through the Private Shop for years. It disappeared only when they discontinued the tapes. There isn't a dvd version of this masterpiece, anyway. I've asked PrivateDVD why, in this Board, on three different occasions, but he never replied.
Yes, Walter, I'd really like to get my hands on that issue of Hot Video. Maybe one day it will surface on eBay.
The arrest for 3 days in Bali was "alleged" by Berth Milton Jr in Private 120 (his "Welcome" page). That Natasha/Sasha was not yet 18 when the movie was shot in '93 is from Thomas Sjoberg's book on the Miltons as quoted by Luke. It was the reason distribution of the film was stopped and probably why the official date of production is one year later. I gave you this information in email, SbandoBoy.

Still, there is no evidence that Pierre was actually busted by the Evil Thais and no evidence at all that proves the underage girl story. Natacha moved to Sweden and after a cople of years, in a booklet for videoshops called "Private X-rated News", they re-introduced her as the new star of Swedish pop, "A Private Girl becomes queen of the Rock Charts". And Private has kept distributing the tape until last year.
By the way. My dupes of Golden Triangle are quite old. So I went to the videoshop to rent them again (the original Private copies, the movie was not distributed in many countries). Part 2, Film #13, was missing (someone broke the tape... YEAH, RIGHT)! So, maybe, like in an Michelangelo Antonioni movie, we imagined it all.
Please do email noproblemo's article (if he doesn't mind). I don't know why Milton would make up that story, SbandoBoy. What evidence do you want? Have you read the piece? There is some reason that of all Private's Films only "The Golden Triangle" has not been transferred to DVD, and what Sjoberg says adds up. We know from Woodman himself that it was shot in '93 (and from Milton in Private 120) not '94 as given out. Distribution in France was stopped. Release held for a whole year. Makes sense to me.
Incidentally, chapter 38 of Sjoberg's book is: "Sasha: The sad story of an underaged Russian model who is mistreated in Bali and Paris by Woodman and other men and finally ends up in Sweden as Milton Jr's protege." Interesting, huh?

No, ok... The fact that Pierre may have spent a couple of weeks in a Thai prison is not related to the presence of an underage girl on the set. The hype behind the movie was that it was being shot in a country where pornography is a felony.
Did you get hold of a copy of the book, or is that just a quote from Luke? Anyway, the pieces appear to fall together, but, and it's a big but, is still all speculation or... something that used to happen on a regular basis in those days. Even the story that Thring relates (thru' Luke) about the Russian girl tricked into doing porn, is about another Bali Connection girl, Kim BSG.

Congratulations. Do you have the complete issue? I am curious to learn which European stars were destined for greatness in the USA, according to the guys at "Hot Video".
noproblemo can answer the question, if he wants. He scanned this cover for me, a dream-cum-true for any Private fan. Apart from that, this cover is full of great details:
The European stars that were going to wreak havoc in the US (European stars who???). The "Hard Crad" fad. The Andrew Blake's Obsessions (time flies fast).
And, purest gem of them all, the words "Vente interdite aux mineurs" under the name Natacha.
Sex and corruption in Bali: great story. I think Max Hardcore used it as the basis for "Costa Rica Getaway" (Private Film 12), casting himself in the role of heroic and saavy director. It cost Milton $10,000 to bail out Pierre (and purportedly $50,000 for the confiscated equipment), which impresses on Private's wealth and power.
Noproblemo's researches corroborate actual date of production and establishes an 8-month delay in release, though without explanation (poor carioca will be disappointed). We still need to get in touch with thomas-sjoberg@swipnet.se, or get Luke to put chapter 38 on his site (it's right up his alley). Natacha is the key to this mystery. There was an actual Jean-Pierre Bouchet in Seychelles at that time: I speculated at the time (a couple of years ago) that it was Pierre's real name, but the guy was some government official if I recall correctly.
Delay in the release of "Club Private in Seychelles" is also explained. Milton asked him to finish it up (and Pierre gave himself writing as well as production manager credit on that one), but Pierre was under "house arrest" (so to speak) in Bali at the time.
I also learn that Pierre--as a Hot Video reporter on a story--did meet Milton Sr (what Zypher doubted): I wonder if it was Sr or Jr was impressed with the guy. And prior to his consequent contract with Private, he did casting for Michel Ricaud. (Great work noproblemo!) (Any more info on Michel Ricaud's death in those precious old HV's?)

And set photography as well, for many of the VMD titles Ricaud made in the early 90s. Prior to that, he was supposedly a policeman.
Woodman also gets a mention on the credits of an SAP title of 1992. In Private Moments Part Two – The Story Continues , Pierre got mentioned as a member of the cast, but I don't recall what he did in the movie.
Walter: The European actresses interviewed in this article were mostly French (Maeva, Elodie, Barbara Doll, Draghixa, Valy Verdi, Julia Chanel, Sidonie, Anastasia) plus Russian Natacha and Canadian Tanya Lariviere. I think only Draghixa and Barbara Doll got a little bit of fame in the U.S. In the same issue of Hot Video (#50, January 1994), there is a backstage report on Andrew Blake's "Sensual Exposure" (French title: "Obsessions cachées #2")
David: There was a backstage report on Club Seychelles in Hot Video #47 (October 1993). About Michel Ricaud's death, they explained he was snatched by a ground swell while standing on a rock doing preview shots for a filler scene. In the same issue, there is a competition to win a trip to Bali and follow Private crew for their next production.
Carioca: The article on Brazil is a backstage report of a film shot in Rio by French pro-am queen Laetitia (see http://www.laetitia.com I don't know the exact film title though)

I would add Julia Chanel and also, to a lesser degree, Maeva.Laetitia shot several films in Brasil. They were released as a series. The title of this series is Grosses chaleurs au Bresil . I have only seen number 4 and it was a very weak video, so I didn't pursue any other installments.
The only scene hardcore of Adrienne Shand that I saw this in Castings #29, with Pierre Woodman. She also was in Riviera #3(no-sex) and in Superfuckers #4 Pierre penetrates she with the fingers.
