Ok, here we go, I found 3 dvds on this site : "Deep Tracy" (Colmax studio) also starring Rachael Ryan & Stacey Donovan "Suzie Superstar 2" (Colmaw studio) w.also Ginger Lynn & Bunny Bleu and the aforementioned triple feature (for the price of one) which includes "Love Bites","La rage de jouir" & "l'Education de Mandy". (Blue One Prod.) Unfortunately I don't know the US titles for these. And if u didn't know Traci had crossed over to mainstream, check those "Melrose Place" reruns.
Most US movies are dubbed in French, unless otherwise noted. It's actually a national joke in France, the dubbing is SOOO ridiculous, especially during the sex scenes where it's not synchronous and fake-sounding. Some distributors now don't dub the sex scenes & leave the original moans, but more often than not, you may as well leave the sound off. But with dvd, things are moving on & some dvd companies slowly offer 2 audio tracks.
Oh God, well, choose "enter" on the presntation page, then type "lords" on the 1st serach engine to the left coupled with "acteur" on the list that's annexed to the side of this search engine. All the results will appear, concerning Traci Lords & other Lords-named performers. To get the details of the dvd, click on "+ d'infos" under the boxcover then "vue av" or "vue ar" on the new window to get either the front or the backcover. If you choose to buy it, click on "ajoutez au panier" which means "add to basket". Once u've selected all the movies u want to buy, click on "mon panier" in the generic page (i think on the left of the page), and enter your personal details (prénom means first name, nom de famille means surname, date de naissance means birthdate, lieu de naissance means birthplace, frais de port means shipping fee, date d'expiration means expiration date (u would have guessed), & then u got some options to click or not if you want to receive infos on your mailbox . Chose the lesser-priced shipping format (if u've got the choice overseas) & if they send you a message error just tell me, i'm here to help...Keep in mind that 1 euro = appr. a little less than 1$ (something like 0.97 $)
While "Traci, I Love You" is a "legal" Traci Lords film, it too is not allowed to be distributed anymore (at least not in the U.S.). Apparently, the deal that Traci made when this movie was made was that they were allowed to sell it for only 10 years. After the 10 years were up and this movie continued to be distributed, Traci sued to have it taken off of the market and won.
As far as importing old Traci movies into the U.S. is concerned...yes, you can do it...no, it's not legal. Unlike importing movies contaiining fisting or pissing, owning porn movies with underage performers is a federal crime. You can probably get away with it, but is is worth the chance?
It makes me nuts that these movies are not available. Not because I am a fan of Traci Lords, but because I am a huge fan of early Christy Canyon. There are lots of movies that Christy did with Traci that are not available because of Traci. In a bunch of these movies, both Christy and Traci appeared in the same scene, so Christy's scene(s) can't even be pulled out of these movies and put into a compilation.
Ero DVD did have some of her titles (PAL versions) a while back -- I got 12 titles from them -- but they don't seem to be listed at the moment. You could try e-mailing ALINE and asking if they still have them. According to details from other threads, not all their titles are listed. So worth asking...
vodka tonic Thanks for the heads up on that particular French site. Pity the titles are so expensive. What are their shipping prices like (to Ireland, if you know)? Also, do you know any similar sites that do labels like COLMAX and BLUE ONE titles, that may be cheaper? Anyone else with info, please chip in...
Although most adult DVD's are not region coded, the vast majority of European DVD's are in the PAL format. You will need a DVD player that is capable of converting PAL to NTSC.
Do a search on PAL or NTSC and you will find a few threads on this topic along with recommended players.
One such Traci/Christy movie that I loved was "A Night of Loving Dangerously". Peter North is in this one along with Jamie Gillis. Not only is there a great g/g scene with the girls, but Jamie Gillis gives Christy anal. It looks like it might have been one of her first tries at rear entry because she is noticeably uncomfortable. Ther are also some good hot tub scenes between Peter North and the girls individually. very hot!Alas, this movie will not be seen again in the USA.
