Ms. Lords was over 16 during her banned career in the U.S.; it could well be that distributing and possessing her films is not a crime in the U.K. The site does note that the age of consent for sexual relations (not necessarily porn) in the U.K is 16. But don't order them if you live in the U.S., to be sure. P.S. -- I'm not advocating 16-year-olds doing porn, just to be clear. Thanks [Link] |

Although the age of consent is 16 the law has been amended so that if you are in a postion of responsiblity (ie: teacher, care home worker, coach etc..) you are no longer able to have a intimate relationship with someone aged 16-17 who is under your supervision. Thats a known fact, however, in the glamour industry or any work that requires nudity be it topless or fully nude requires a model release form that has to be signed and if you under 18 requires a parents signature and all porn DVD's have a claim that all actors are over 18. For topless work i.e. the Sun or Sport or Star if you are 16 or 17 a parent signature is required, i believe. I may be wrong. I've never seen a Traci Lords movie before and i knew of the furore over the fact that she was young . I simply didn't know that all bar one of her movies was made before she was 18. I'm just glad that i posted here in ADT before i ordered because this is obviously a very grey area. Thanks. [Link] |
