Question are these from the factory or DVD-R copies? I ask because I have never seen a "clear" keepcase before and I have 100+ dvds. Note: The artwork seemed fine. Bill  All-Star Member 5334 Posts 6/00 | Posted - Sep 25 2004 : 10:31AM I know that RLD it taking advantage of the clear case by printing double sided inserts that can be seen when the case is opened. I don't know if you got copies or not. But the fact that you got clear cases is definitely not an indication that they are. DVD-R's are easy to identify by looking at the data side of the disc. Burned discs have a purple tint to them, instead of the silver or gold tint that regular DVD's have.  [Link] |
| Kurtz Member 14 Posts 9/04 | Posted - Sep 25 2004 : 2:28PM I certainly wouldn't mind getting XXX discs in transparent cases because then I could take those cases and put the discs and leaflets in boring old black cases that I have dozens of. It's difficult to find transparent DVD boxes en masse in stores :D. The boring old black/dark brown ones are everywhere, but transparent ones are rare, unfortunately... [Link] |
