In a not chronological list I've noticed so far: bukkake, big butts, big tits, creampie, deep throat and gagging and stuff, spit, extreme anal like DAP or fisting... and so on The question is: How can there be trends in porn? Porn is financed by it's loyal costumers, or am I wrong? So are there any trends in human sexuality? Are there trends in any sexual preference / fetish? Does anybody say like: "Hey, yesterday jizzing on girls was hot, but today I prefeer huge fake tits"? I don't think so. I mean, I'm a trendy guy: I like most of the new stuff, but where has all the good old stuff (like creampies - you see them rarely those days) has gone? Do you feel the same? It's not possible for people to stay the same, even if they want to stay the same. I think trends in porn get established and progress because they hit on something many people naturally want to see. Like a good DP, for example. An attractive woman who can take a good DP from two horny guys really stands out in terms of her sexual ability. She looks like someone who is really good in bed with guys, far better than the average. Which naturally attracts many porn fans, who follow her super-womanly sexual exploits with guys. She is a Superwoman of sex, a sexual heroine to her fans. And of course, other ladies in the porn industry seeing the Super-woman's success try to imitate her, which establishes a trend in the porn industry. This is where the anal sex, gaping, DPs, DPPs, and DAPs come in. All of these sex acts are beyond what an average woman would do with her guy. Older women has always been an aspect of porn but when someone had the great idea of using younger "older" women who actually looked hot instead of women who looked like grandmas and tagged them with the popular/trendy term "MILF" a new trend took off. Along comes Vicky Vette who became the postergirl for MILFs for a time and the floodgates were suddenly open. The big breast thing took off in the 80s because some pornstar (actually the right pornstar) figured out if big is good really big would be really good. And as boobjobs became more common and more doctors doing them it became easier to find doctors would would load a girl up with a pair of huge funbags. I tend to think the super big boob fad started to fade when harder porn became popular and many of the superboob women refused to go hard like so many other pornstars. Women have always had big butts and some guys have always liked them. I still think Jennifer Lopez' fame had a lot to do with lots of white women and men thinking big butts aren't so bad and embracing the booty. In porn Katja Kassin was the new poster girl for big butts for a long while with Olivia Olovely and a few others then Naomi came on the scene and helped kicked it into overdrive. The are trends/fads that sem to start strong but fizzle out after awhile because they're more for shock value. Those would include gagging until the girl vomits, creampies that get eaten, slapping, anal prolapse, bukkake, etc...these things only are popular for awhile because of the shock value of seeing them for the first time and thinking "Wow! I can't believe she/he did that!!" but after awhile the shock wears off and people realize it's just a goofy stunt that isn't even sexy.
