Has anyone had experience of not receiving orders from Adult DVD Empire? I'm located
in Italy and the last Summer I ordered Titan's "Trespass" from them, but it never
arrived. After 6 weeks they, kindly, reposted to my address the item but, once again,
it never arrived. Too bad twice in a row, isn't it? I've never had problems in the past
ordering from the US (non only from ADE) and usually it takes 5-7 working days to get
my DVDs.
The only thing I noticed the last time I received something from ADE was that on the
box there was an economy stamp from Basel (Switzerland) and no sign of the green C-22
sticker with the usual indication of the value etc. !?!
Has any of you had the same problems here in the EU lately?
Thanks.

I only had a problem with ADE last year, my order took two months before I got it. I watched the postoffice stamp and it was dated September 11, 2001. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it or if the Dutch customs was to blame for it.

Btw, can't ADE do an order tracking?

I ordered a couple of dvds from ADE a few months back by normal mail and after a couple of weeks, I thought it must have got lost. Then it suddenly turns up but the weird thing about it was the package box they came in had a economy postage stamp label that was in french and had France clearly marked on it. No custom declaration label either.

So I wonder if its ADE's policy to sent the products first to a mainland european base of theirs before forwarding it to me here in England?

DVD Empire are very good. Sometimes, dvds take as long as 2 weeks to arrive, but they get to their destination.
No EXTRAS.
And no shocks like a £4.50 fee for putting a stamp on an envelope.

@ Fireyfox -
I think the way the airmail postage, like Adult DVD Empire and Laser's Edge use, works is to send mail en masse from the US to centralised European locations (EG Frankfurt) and then it enters the European mail system from there.

I think you could be right Gabriel. Like a week a ago I got a package from Gamelink with a Frankfurt label on it. I don't like this system because it takes a lot longer for your package to arrive. Usually I got my DVD's from Gamelink in like 10 days but this time it took like 20 days.

Just when I thought I woudn't even receive it the second time, it arrived today,
1 month and three days after DVD Empire reposted it. This time with the economy
Basel stamp too, but with the package open (I can see the plastic tape they use
to seal their packets broken) and re-sealed whit trasparent tape. But no indication
of who made it and why. In Europe, in this latest period, there were a few cases of
explosive in postal packets! So I am not too surprised if the post offices have
intensify their work of control.
